Today it took a really long time to get through the drive-thru even though only three car were in line. I completely understand that they might have been short staffed (giving them the benefit of the doubt because I was not inside so I couldn't see how many employees were there). I only ordered a large Mocha Moo-latte with a shot of vanilla flavor (I understand that it is not a typical menu item so it might have required clarification either from another employee or myself). However, the drive-thru employee said "one moment" then came immediately back and said "ok that will be $5.13". I said thanks pulled forward, of course had to wait for the two cars in front of me to proceed through the drive-thru, when I pulled up I had exact change so I handed it to the employee he had my order already ready, so I pulled away (it looked fine), however when I took my first sip it was bitter and very clumpy. Needless to say I was very disappointed since that was what I intended on for my mid-day lunch/snack. š„ I was on my way to work otherwise I would have went back for a different one or something else. But I still love DQ, but it might be a little bit...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have a love-hate with this place. If you use the drive through, and need a big order then avoid visiting during busy meal hours. Their drive through intercom is old and is muffled, so the staff can't hear you correctly. I've had several order mess ups here, and it's very frustrating. But the staff is always super nice and they really are trying. My recent visit was terrible. We ordered five $6 combos, and when the order was complete, the total was too low so I knew they somehow missed a meal. (Makes me wonder what she was saying okay and sure to through that last order) My husband confirmed we needed 3 of the burger meal and two of the chicken. The girl repeated it back and it was wrong, but we couldn't tell cause of the muffled intercom. We go to pay and had to add on the lat one again. Then they forgot one of our drinks. When the food came they still forgot the last meal!! So they made us pull over and wait, which I understand. When they finally brought it out, the meal was still wrong somehow!! Total nightmare. We just left cause at that point it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe arrived at 9:40 pm on a Saturday night and the sign said they closed at 10:00 pm. The employees announced loudly to our group of 10, and another group of 6 or so that came in behind us that they close at 10 pm and the grill was closed, so we could only get uce cream. We all ordered ice cream treats and sat to celebrate family time together after my nieces dance recital. The employees then announced one more time loudly to the entire restaurant that they close in 5 minutes! I have managed restaurants for years and would never imagine treating my customers that way. We happened to be done 2 minutes before 10, but the group after us was still seated. At 10, they literally started locking the doors and even turned out the dining room lights on the customers that were still in there, forcing them out.
If you are open until 10, you should serve any customers that come in before that time and not rush them out. This was absolutely horrible...
