I wanted to order food online for pick up. But I couldn't find broccoli! Then I called the store. I asked a few questions. The lady answered me impatiently! She hung up before I finished speaking. I thought the store must be very busy. . I arrived at the store in 15 minutes! The food was not ready. I waited another 15 minutes. In the store, I saw the lady arguing with a customer. Half an hour later, I finally got my food! I ate half of it and saw a bug. So disgusting. I called the store to ask for a refund. The lady also argued with me! No refund! Even though I said I could take the food back! The attitude was also very tough and no refund! The food was not delicious. The hygiene was not up to standard! Not recommendedă
Update. The owner responded to my review. Said they were not busy at all. Yes. When I asked the lady on the phone! She hung up before I finished speaking! I thought the restaurant was busy. I thought. I never said she was the old lady? Tried to say I didn't place the order with her.. Very bad attitude! Owenďźowner ďź should be the lady at the front desk. Will not be back. Not recommended.
I will also post it on Facebook to tell all family...
Read moreYou know how those days are, where you need a little quiet time. It's back to school weekend where we raise the little people at church to their parallel Sunday school grade - great bunch of kids. A gracious plenty - then to Grandma's for a TV crime mystery. I just needed a quick pop-in for lunch.
China Express is easy to find out by Rucker LN and Franklin RD immediately abutting Cinco de Mayo. It's quick, it's clean, it's easy, it's quite. And parking and ingress and egress is no trouble. You might even find a spot with shade from a tree if the luck holds out.
Mongolian Chicken and fried rice - a staple in Chinese-American food was the spot hitting grub of today. The combo plate actually. Generous portions served hot. I know everyone likes to see perfect scores but one suggests perfection. And anyone who follows knows I do try to offer feedback in a polite and helpful way. And food served cool/warm will cost a star â. But, that wasn't the case today.
If you like yours hot like I do - check the steam out in the video clip.
It really was a great lunch after a full delightful morning. After, I had no trouble slipping off into Sunday...
Read moreI've eaten at various Chinese restaurants (take away and dine-in) in the Murfreesboro area, and China Express is - by far - my favorite. Their sauces never clump over the top of the meat (which happens when the light breading isn't done correctly); their Moo Goo Gai Pan is delicious (not slimy like other places - I honestly hated this dish before I had theirs); their Moo Shu Pork is divine. I adore their egg drop and hot & sour soups, their egg rolls are always cooked to perfection, and their spring rolls are delicious. Their steamed rice is superb.
One of the best things to me is that there are quite a lot of dishes that I can order that don't have any onion whatsoever. I have a sensitivity to onions - a rather negative reaction that puts one off eating - so knowing that I can order various dishes without worrying about whether my stomach will rebel is a delight.
If you're looking for superior Chinese food at a good value with terrific service, I highly recommend...
