McCallie Dining Hall — Restaurant in Murfreesboro

I'm in the middle, I mean sometimes they have some great selection but at least 40% of the time it's just basic dishes still somehow prepared relatively poorly. The biggest issue is the staff, man you have no right to be so salty and dismissive when you try so little to prepare decent food and you get to work inside all day. Also would it kill you to at least attempt not to stack food up on my plate? I'll get some mac and cheese and mashed potatoes and I'll intentionally leave a wide open space on my plate for some chicken, and then they'll go and drop the chicken right on top of the mashed potatoes. Okay so it's time to review this place again since they moved. MTSU wasted tons of money moving this mediocre buffet less than a quarter mile from their original spot. The quality of their food has not really changed since they have moved and the help is hit or miss. McCallie Dining Hall where you can't serve yourself and there is only someone there to serve you about 30% of the time; here is your overcooked chicken. Although the buffet is large, the quality and variety of what you can get is lack luster. If you have eaten here more than once, you have had all there is they can offer. If you do not have a meal plan, lunch is over $10 which is sad considering you can get better food in a high school...

Probably one of the worst college dining halls I have ever been to food wise for the price. I have been to a lot of college dining halls and there are way better ones for the same price or less. It’s just like high school cafeteria food but more expensive and less variety. The only thing going for this place is that it is nice looking and the workers are pretty friendly but that’s because it new but that gets overlooked because they never clean the table.
