Looking for a new place to eat, we tried this place on a whim. It was a great choice, because this place was awesome!
We took some time reviewing the menu, trying to decide what we wanted.
Anytime we go to a new place, we like to try to get an appetizer. So, when we finally decided what we wanted, we ordered everything at the same time (this might have been a mistake, while I'll explain later**).
We ordered the Mac & Cheese Balls appetizer, the Philly Sub, Chad's Cobb salad, and the kid's "mini" burger and fries.
The Mac & Cheese balls were huge! You get 4 of them for $12.50, but they were worth it! (although, one very minor gripe is they were actually spiral noodles, not macaroni)
The Philly sub and fries were good, as was the Cobb salad.
The kid's "mini" burger was a LIE! It was a FULL sized burger, and it was delicious! (This is definitely NOT a gripe, but a boast!)
We will definitely be back, and I will probably try getting one of their burgers next time!
**The only real qualm I had about our visit was the delivery of the food. As I mentioned earlier, we ordered our app and our food at the same time. We got the app within 10 minutes, but then we received our food about 5 minutes after that. I think we had gotten through maybe ONE of the balls before our food arrived.
Fast delivery of food is normally a good thing, but the entrees came out too quickly after the app. However, this is 100x better than having to wait 20+ minutes after finishing the app before we get our food (like some other places).
Edit to add: we've gone a 2nd time now and it was still good. Wife got the Taco salad, kid got the kids cheeseburgers, and I got the Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese....
Read moreMy 9 year old son wanted pizza and to watch the Predators game, which was playing that night, so I decided to take him to the Boulevard. When we walked in, a sign said "Seat yourself". There was no other sign or person directing us to sit anywhere specific. We found a table in view of a TV showing the Predators game, and sat. And we continued sitting as we watched other people come in after us and get helped, while no one even came by to ask if we wanted a drink or maybe a menu. After 15 minutes of sitting, someone finally came to our table, but only to tell us we can't sit there because kids can't sit at the high tops after 3:00 pm. She said we can sit at a low top and then walked away. I tried to ask her if I missed a sign stating that policy, but it was too late. She was already giving hugs to the two guys who came in after us. She was now the second server to stop at the other table while we had yet to get any help, unless being told you can't sit here counts as help.
At that point, I made the best decision I had made all day, and we left. We went to Jonathan's and had two for one pizza and watched the Predators game, and had a hostess seat us, and got helped at our table right away, despite Jonathan's being much busier than the Boulevard.
If you're going to have a policy that you plan on enforcing upon your guests, it may be a good idea to have a way for that policy to be made clear to your guests before they find a table and sit for 15 minutes with no help. They have only refunded me once and I've given them about three weeks to refund my money.The server took my card and charged me three times. I received a refund immediately for the first charge that they made. It has taken 3 weeks to get my money back. It's not a lot of money, but I believe this business lacks customer service and is unethical. Food was good and they had a nice setup. The server was friendly. If you are going, I highly recommend that you pay with cash. Jeff, the GM offered me a gift card for more than the amount I spent at this establishment. After this incident, I will NEVER step foot in this business again. Why the heck would I want a gift card? I just want MY MONEY back. The assistant manager got it right the first time, but the GM hasn't resolved the issue in three weeks and at least five e-mails. RIDICULOUS. Poor customer service from Jeff. Samantha, the assistant manager was helpful though. Shouldn't have to BEG to get back money that belongs to me, even if it isn't that much. REMEMBER: PAY WITH CASH.
