Penn Station has been my favorite sub place for years with their fresh ingredients, friendly employees, and tasty options. As a closet habit former, if I have a favorite meal most places I frequent, I tend to stick to it, and it’s no different here. The fries are always prepared in front of you fresh with your meal (use the malt vinegar they provide for the fries - trust me), and the lemonade you can thankfully buy by the gallon (believe me, you’ll want to). They also have a variety of chips and different sandwiches and appetizers, or you can build your own. The whole meal can be topped off with a huge, soft chocolate chunk cookie that makes me weak in the knees to think about, but all their stuff is great and super fresh. I was picking up an order from a third party carrier. When I enter the restaurant, no one acknowledged me for a long time. When they did ,they said that they were working on the order. The place only had a few customers and wasn’t busy at all. While I waited patiently, I watch the three workers work. A sloth would have ran circles around them. Two of the guys that had long hair didn’t even have their hair pulled back and the guy with the chipped black nail polish kept touching the top of his hat with his hands and then touching sandwiches. 🤢 After over 20 minutes of waiting, my customer cancelled their order. Therefore, a not satisfied customer and not so happy delivery person that wasted time and lost money here. Never again will I accept an order for this place nor will I ever want...

Felt pretty pricey for 1 sandwich, 1 wrap, 2 drinks and 1 lg fry, at just over $41... then, as I dispensed the Sprite/Starry.. little black flecks were floating in it... I mentioned it to an employee, and yes he got to work on it right away, but didn't otherwise have any kind of response to me at all. The Mountain Dew would dispense, but for some reason, water poured out of the front of the dispenser panel as you poured your drink. I didn't tell my wife about the drink situation, just got her a new cup, and lemonade instead.. she said everything tasted pretty good... but she may change her mind if she reads this review. Also, all my fries were shorties... I mean over $6 for one order? Could I not get some full...
