This location is very close to my house and I’ve gone here for years. But after today, I will no longer be stopping there regardless of how convenient it is. I’ll park and go to the Starbuck’s in Macey’s or drive to a Starbucks anywhere else and management can thank the employees they now have at the window. Today was the last time. They used to be so friendly and outgoing here and we would chat and it was pleasant. I’m sure those good employees moved on to better and bigger things. Unfortunately, the people that work there currently are blatantly rude and obviously irritated that they work at a drive up coffee shop window. I’m pretty sure that’s not my fault. Today at 10am I had the misfortune of getting again the young chubby faced surly blonde girl. I mention her chubby face simply because I failed to get her name and I want management to know who she is because they have a great training opportunity with this one. I ordered an Americano, a large ice water and egg bites at the drive thru. Not a huge order, not particularly complicated, I wouldn’t think. I did ask for steamed cream and cinnamon in the Americano and maybe that’s what set her off. I pull up to pay, she opens the window obviously not happy, no smile, no good morning, just a pissed off face and tells me the price. I had an empty plastic water cup from the last time and asked if she could do me a favor and toss it for me. Maybe that was it. I mean that request IS egregious and I certainly should have realized it. She was visibly irritated when she took my cup and tossed it. Then she thrusted the long charging thing at me and of course looks away. I paid and foolishly gave her a one dollar tip because I always tip at least a dollar which is stupid for crap service. She handed me my water with a straw, thanks, then handed me the coffee with a stopper, she didn’t ask if I wanted a stopper, no big deal but I don’t. I want a straw. I guess that too is just an over the top request because that really didn’t set well. She pulled out the stopper with visible irritation and tossed it. I asked for a straw instead. She gave me one and shut the window, no thank you, no have a good day, no egg bites. She was so rude that I just wanted to get away from there. I pulled away thinking that was unpleasant and I don’t need to come here again. As I drove away I realized she hadn’t given me my egg bites so I parked and went inside. She was still at the window scowling at customers. I walked up to the counter and before I could say anything to the girl at the counter, who, needless to say, didn’t greet me or smile, the one I’d interacted with at the window saw me, grabbed the egg bites, walked over and gave them to me with no comment whatsoever, just her irritated face as if it was my fault she didn’t give me my food. She actually looked put out that I came back for it. I almost expected her to say, “here’s your food, idiot, you forgot it.” Wow. No apology, no thank you, no nothing from either of them. Upshot: the employees there this morning don’t want to be and obviously don’t care what kind of service they are delivering. Which is fine. They will never have to be bothered with me and my over the top requests again. I will not be coming back to this location or any other Beans & Brew based on months now of driving up to irritated rude employees at this location’s window. Today was certainly not the first time with this particular girl and others at this location, but today she was so over the top rude that I’m taking the time to write this in the hopes that management will do something, but I highly doubt it. I’m one customer. Who cares. Maybe that’s the standard at all their locations and they give RBF training to new employees. It doesn’t matter to me. I’m done. It’s a cup of coffee and there are Starbucks all over the city and at every location I’ve gone to the employees are very friendly and give great customer service. I’ll take my business there...
Read moreI continually have a very negative experience every time I go to a beans and brews. ESPECIALLY THIS LOCATION. Beans and brews is the absolute worst coffee shop I have ever been to when trying to simply pay. I'm not kidding when I say EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I go there is an issue. Weather it's thru payment or getting my order wrong. This morning I go thru the drive thru and order my total was $8. I gave her the 5 dollar promo on my app first then i want to use my 5 dollar gift card to pay for the rest. The blonde lady with glasses at the drive thru said i cant because i can only scan one or the other, not both. I said why not? The gift card is cash and then im using a promo for money off. I dont understand the problem? She said she can't. I said why not? She said it won't scan. It doesnt work. We accept cash and card. I said okay I'm giving you a payment thru a vaild gift card. She just looks at me and said i already told you, no. And refused to take the payment. I had no other way of paying since I intended to use a completely valid form of payment. I didnt get any alternatives for this from a manager coming to speak to me or anything. No breakfast or coffee, rude interaction with any employee and no atempt to help me. Not only is this so absolutely ridiculous on so many levels but it was my last time ever attempting to go here or any other Beans and brews. I'm so done with this stupid company. I've had so many bad interactions with their employees and service. I can't believe I was treated that way over trying to pay for my items. Ridiculous. Read moreI frequently this location often as it is next to my office and convenient. However that last couple times I have been, they are just not on top of it. They give out the wrong food and drinks and do not make changes requested to the food. The receipts reflect the correct order and I am charged for add on or changes. but the items that actually come out are incorrect. It doesn’t feel great being charged for something that you are not receiving. (Example - ordered a bacon egg and cheddar croissant and got sausage and egg and ordered a turkey pesto panini and added avocado and did not receive the avocado I was charged for and it was missing the cheese). All of this on top of the 15 minute wait in the drive thru just to receive the wrong items. Mistakes happen and once or twice wouldn’t be a problem but three times in a row makes you not want to go back. I don’t know what is happening lately but it seems like they just aren’t paying attention. I think I will skip the headache and head to the nearby Starbucks...
