Panera Bread — Restaurant in Murray

This Panera location is a joke!! Reading the reviews to see if I was the only one with same experience but I can see I’m not. This mgt here could be better ran by a toddler. Not sure what the deal is but I lived in other places with Panera and a large population so there’s no excuse for the sad service, rude mgt, and waiting times here. There “policies” are due to what they feel they can do and not true to the business. Beware that they’ll straight up lie to your face about your order that they messed up! A lot of times the food is missing an item. You always have to wait and they don’t seem to mind. I wish cooperate would toss or fix this store but probably wouldn’t change for the good. It would be just right back to horrible again. And one of my biggest pet peeve’s here is that the pick two’s come with your choice of bread, apple or chips, if u don’t ask they just give u bread even though the menu says your choice they NEVER ASK!! the sandwiches are just smushed and thrown together, nothing like a sandwich. 4 out of the last 5 trips to panera were terrible. Second day in a row I had to just drive off. Yesterday was steak, egg and cheese on everything bagel. No bagel. No plain bagel. Just sweet ones. Today, my wife wanted a wrap. Bacon, egg, spinach and avacodo. No longer sell wraps or spinach. Ok put it on the bread that you use for the egg sandwich on the menu. Them, "Huh?" Me, "on your menu there is a photo of bacon and egg sandwich. Use that bread. It looks good." Them, "uhhh... I'm sorry I don't know the menu, hang on................................................." Me, "ehh, it's all good. Thanks." Drives off.

Panera has always been expensive. Not that big of a deal. But at today's prices and having to deal with lack of inventory, always out of something, I'm tapping out. Panera has an experience you come to expect-- and this Panera doesn't detract from that standard experience. The food was delicious and the restaurant was very clean. However, I knocked some points off for service. I came in on a cold day wanting to get a soup bowl, and they had run out of soup bowls a few hours before close. Understandable, but there seems to be a disconnect between par for the baker and demand for a chilly day. Also, the food for the order before mine sat a good while. The young lady calling orders didn't have a very loud hollering voice, and the customers had no idea their food was ready to be collected. I waited about 5 minutes for my take out order to finish, and at that point I went around and collected the other guests myself to make sure they got their food warm. Seems evening service leaves a little to be desired, which is understandable given the tasks they have to complete before...
