I was actually referred to this donut shop by the folks at Vista Donuts in Murrieta, since Vista was habitually out of the plain croissants I wanted to get for other members of my family when I would visit there. The donuts at Donut Star actually seem nearly identical to what Vista is selling; I would not be surprised to find they have the same owner. The quality is great here, and the prices are reasonable. I remember being in middle school and my mom taking me to get donuts before she dropped me off at school really early, and I would see them making donuts since the wee hours of the morning.
