It may not look like too much from the outside but I absolutely love this Italian restaurant. There's patio seating on the outside but if you want to immerse yourself in an aesthetically pleasing Italian wine cellar, I suggest you dine indoors in the newly renovated dining room. My husband and I had our Valentines dinner here even though the reservation list was full and the wait was over an hour. Friendly staff and great service. We started off with the calamari and caprese salad appetizers which was delicious. The calamari was lightly battered and crispy which I enjoyed because I don't like getting full off of heavily battered over priced appetizers. We ordered two main course dishes, one was a lobster stuffed ravioli and the other was slow braised short ribs with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. Everything was just so satisfying with wonderful flavors that paired nicely with the Zinfandel wine the waitor suggested. I can't believe I haven't frequented this establishment but I live fairly close by so we'll definitely be back.

Disappointing…My Daughter wanted to take me to Dinner for my Birthday. We had planed to go to Temecula but the waitlist was 2 hours, so we decided to try Rustico. She called to check on wait times & was told 30 minutes. When she called back to reserve a table 5 minutes later she was told they were no longer taking reservations and the wait time was now 45 minutes, but we could walk in. When we arrived, we were not greeted, there were a lot of open tables and the Busboy was the one who seated us. We ordered Salad, an appetizer & a glass of wine, the wine never arrived, we were told that was because of phone orders. We ordered Pizza, the crust was burnt & very difficult to slice. My Daughter wanted to order dessert, I opted for an espresso martini. 🍸 It was served in a tulip glass and tasted like Baileys, shaken & poured. I didn’t finish it. My Daughter shelled out $140 for Dinner including tip. I didn’t want to complain & embarrass her. Sadly not someplace I would recommend or return to.

I was happy to find and book a reservation here, as most places were fully booked for Mothers day. I was hopeful because I love a good bruschetta. We were seated at a small table and service was generally good although we did wait over an hour for our entrees. The bruschetta was abnormally sweet. Too much balsamic glaze, perhaps. And the bread was soggy. The mom-osa was perfect although I would have preferred a "bottomless" option. I ordered the lobster ravioli and it was very good. The lobster skewers were a bit rubbery. My fiance ordered the filet medallions and although he enjoyed his meal, I found it to be seriously lacking salt. And his scalloped potatoes were gray. Perhaps left sitting out too long before cooking? Over all, the meal was "alright". Ill have to try the pizza before I can decide whether this place is for me, or not.

Another excellent experience at Rustico last night. We originally did have a slight problem with our order. However, it was quickly rectified with a positive attitude and that’s why I would give 5 stars again. Every single time my husband and I have been to Rustico the food has really been excellent. The prices are reasonable for the food, quality and atmosphere. The service at Rustico is so good, even if we just want a pizza this is where my husband and I go. This is because the service is noticeably better than other places. It’s a few minutes further than some other places. My husband and I had a long drive yesterday, even though my husband was the one driving. I was still very tired as my medical condition is exacerbated during rain. Rustico is about ten minutes further eac way from where we live and we still went there for dinner last night. When you have a long drive as we had yesterday and there was a lot of traffic, ten minutes each way can make a difference, it can be wearing. However, we still dined at Rustico, because the food, service, and atmosphere truly is that much better than many other restaurants. We are very lucky to have such a fine restaurant, like Rustico, here in what is called the valley of the Inland Empire(I.e. Menifee, Temecula, Murrieta).

Very good pizza reasonable prices . We haven’t been back to Rustico in a long time, just because in the past with Google maps we had a hard time finding it. Now that we have changed to the Apple maps, it’s easier for us to find. We went to Rustico for the second time last night. The service, food , atmosphere, are all really good. We can only speak on the pizza. My husband and I ordered the large, but we didn’t realize that their large is tremendous. Their large is an 18 inch and the slices are huge. Their prices are actually less expensive than a chain pizza place. The food and service was much better than a chain. My husband and I want to try their other food sometime besides just a pizza. The only thing that I didn’t care for was that it was a little bit too warm in the restaurant, especially for such a hot day. My husband and I have only been to Rustico twice now, but both times were very good...

We had dinner at Rustico's Restaurant for Mother's Day and we want to rave about the food. Francesco featured a marvelous Mother's Day Special Menu that included a delicate Chilean Sea Bass with a side of Angel Hair Pasta dressed with olives, onion, garlic and tomatoes. It was heavenly! My husband enjoyed Francesco's Mother's special Pot Roast with Harris Ranch short ribs, a rich gravy, vegetables and scalloped potatoes--honestly, it was beyond delicious, so tender and flavorful. The food here never disappoints and the staff is very friendly, helpful and well trained. Thank you to our server, Sam, for her genuine smile and recommendations on the food. I attended a special luncheon in the Cellar Room a few days later and once again, the food and the service were wonderful. We had Penne Pasta with a flavorful Marinara sauce, Chicken Parmigiana dressed with melted cheese and napped with a lovely sauce, and a beautiful Caesar Salad, their famous bread and olive oil balsamic vinegar for dipping. Oh, and the lunch was topped off with a creamy, light Cheesecake! I can't say enough great things about our server, Michelle, who went out of her way to make sure that everyone had everything they needed. At the end, she put lots of "take home" foil plates and lids so everyone who wanted to could take some food home. Michelle was very attentive, cheerful and welcomed us graciously. The new Cellar Room is beautiful and I highly recommend it for private functions. Truly, you can't go wrong with Rustico's for a couple's night out, a family evening, or for a larger, catered, private event. Molto Bene!,...

My family has been visiting this restaurant for about three years. We met Jessica, our waitress, and have had nice interactions with staff and good food, slightly overpriced, but had our favorite dishes we stuck to. As they re-opened we went about 3 weeks ago and noted masks, social distancing with every other booth utilized. The partitions between booths were, well, “house-made” with wooden frames and routed out plexiglass inserts but 6 inch gaps by the windows. Ugh! We went again last week and noted crowded waiting and people with no masks. All booths we being used. It was overcrowded during our stay. My meal was the Salmon, which I’ve enjoyed in the past, but noted it came two pieces, one like mush(end piece) and one cooked properly. Also my wife received her meal, later than us. “Oh, It was put in the to go area”. No apology just excuses. I returned my fish, and the waitress (NOT Jessica!) said she would have the kitchen remake it. Later, upon waiting and woman came to the table, not identifying herself, said the chef said, “the fish was perfect” that I sent back. She said, “How do you want it, undercooked or over cooked?” What???? I said I wanted it cooked properly. She continued to ruin our customer experience, and I finally said forget it. I shared my wife’s late meal. Still no apology or compensation. The waitress said at the end of our meal, obliviously unconcerned, “oh, don’t worry I took that meal off your check.” Really??? Well thank you! Will we be returning.....NO! This place is a fine dining wannabe, with poor fixes and NOT safety compliant. Very...
