Hy-Vee Market Grille — Restaurant in Muscatine

30 bucks for a small sandwich and fries meal, egg roll appetizer, and 2 sodas. Food took about 20 minutes or so and was brought out to us. Egg rolls dropping with grease that upset my wife's stomach, fish sandwich was well cooked but absolutely zero seasoning or even a sauce to add flavor. Best part of the meal were the fries, but honestly paying that much for sub-par glorified fast food spoiled the whole experience. Side note, not that I particularly minded, but there seemed to be extra staff that sat around mostly talking to each other while one of them brought food and cleaned tables. Surely there's a break room or space where they can chill away...

After reading the reviews I was apprehensive to say the least, but was surprised how wrong they were. Went with some coworkers for lunch, I ordered the burger with chili on it(messy but really good, recommend a fork) and my coworkers tried the wings with no complaints and even had extra wings to take home. The food came out in like 10-15 minutes, nice and hot. Ordered 3 meals and none were prepared correctly. 2 of the meals were missing the sides that were ordered and the meal that had sides was missing all of the toppings on the sandwich. The instructions on medium well vs. well done were not followed. Wait time was over an hour and the food was stone cold when we received it. I would expect this quality of service from a beginning fast food restaurant, not a an establishment claiming they sell gourmet burgers.
