Mmm k, let’s get this party started! First off, wasn’t busy when my family and I arrived which was about 4:30ish. A hand full of people dining in at best. Our waitress took our drink orders but had to be corrected 4 times as she kept getting it wrong as she was verbally passing along our drink order to another waitress behind the counter. I actually just got up and went over to the counter and told the other waitress, myself. There were only 3 pop drinks on the order……Do with that what you will. The other thing we thought was a tad weird was most of the food was gone! First time trying this place out and was a bit confused. We did make plates with what was left over and questioned whether the steam trays actually worked properly or not as some of the food was ice cold. It did get better within about 20 minutes as customers started to arrive and new trays were brought out more frequently. As far as taste goes, I thought it was better than expected, especially the jalapeño chicken which I couldn’t get enough of. The lo mein noodles were tasty as well but they were almost as long as the buffet! Jk, but they were pretty long. Reminded me of Lady and the tramp. Now let’s talk ice cream. I thought it was cool that they had buckets of ice cream that you can scoop yourself with quite a few good flavors on hand, however, the scooper was sitting in a pool of what looked like old nasty water with many floaters. Not an appetizing sight. The dining room seemed to be clean, the front entrance, not so much. A bottle of windex and a rag would serve them well. That glass hasn’t been cleaned in months!! The restroom smelled clean and wasn’t in too bad of shape. I did feel like a criminal and felt as though we were being treated as such. Not sure if it’s a high crime area or if they get a lot of dine-&-dash but the number of cameras in that place was absolutely obnoxious!! Not to mention when my fiancé and her daughter went to the front counter to pay the bill our waitress literally ran around the corner to see what she was doing, and immediately dispatched someone from the back to come out front as she stood there watching me while I was still sitting at our table. The bill by the way, was not itemized. It had a number, $46.81 for three adults, roughly $16 each. Not worth the cost in my opinion. I’m glad I tried it, the food was good for what it is when it’s fresh, however I will not...
Read moreNot huge selections of food but what they have is good and fresh. They keep food well stocked and attentive if someone is waiting for a specific item that just ran out. Loved the cucumber salad, fried fish that is perfectly breaded and not overly seasoned. Good potstickers that are oddly shaped more like shu mai's. Chicken wings have tangy crunch and juicy inside. Nice fresh cut fruit offerings to finish off the meal. I had the strawberries and watermelon wedges, dynomite... Was trying to eat light so did not try the stir fry's stuffs or the ice creams.
Staff is efficient but not hovering. Clean well lit dining area. And yes, very reasonable lunch buffet price. Dinner is little more with more choices from what the other reviewers had wrote. Will do dinner later this week but would have...
Read moreWent in at 2pm, buffet was fully loaded with hot , fresh items. Good variety on both hot and cold sides. Soups, entrees with shrimp, beef, pork and chicken, with rice or lomein. Plenty of choice in salad and addins, great tasting fresh fruits. Desserts had choice of ice creams, variety of cookies, eclairs, cream puffs, danish, rice crispy bars and a variety of dessert bars and cakes. All this for a fantastic price, (cheaper than burger meals, and better for you!) as it is all you can eat. I had the coconut shrimp, mongolian beef, teriyaki chicken sticks, crab ragoons, sweet donuts, fresh fruits, sauteed green beans and tapioca pudding and sweet tea. 2 meals with drinks for $19! I will definitely be back again. Plus you can order off their menu and do take out also. 😭 Closed...
