The hallway smells like either someone is making spaghetti in their room or it's really smelly socks, I can't decide. Maybe both. And the smell is really really strong. My dinner wanted to make an apearance. No elevators, creepy dark staircase. I'm no shrinking violet, but I would feel nervous staying here as a single woman. Thankfully I have the hubby with me. Seems like the place of last resort. As soon as I enter the room things improve a bit. The room is a place to sleep. Definitely no frills. It's old and worn, but clean. The sheets look clean. A/C was consistent. There is a microwave & fridge, sitting alone, stacked on top of eachother. Carpet had lots of dirty spots, I never walked barefoot. You have to hold the handle down on the toilet to make it flush. It looked like it was about to fall apart, but again, thankfully it was clean. I didn't use the shower, but it had plastic pealing off... I've rolled the dice on other Super 8's in the past, and some are ok, some are not. This falls in the "not" category. Even though the room seems clean (thank goodness), the rooms are surprisingly pricey, around $140 for the cheapest one, the night we needed a place. If I had walked into a dirty room, I would have walked right back out. So kudos to whoever cleans up. Book the Best Western next door, it looked leaps and bounds better than this place. Also a Comfort Inn nearby looked nicer. They were all considerably more expensive the night I needed. I survived. But I'll pony up the extra cash for a different place next time. The only pic I managed to take is the one asking for a good review with the bribe of chips! This place is, 'all that' and forget the chips ๐Ÿ˜‚

The rooms were clean, well-maintained, spacious and I liked the headboard with an old sidewheeler steamboat photo. Breakfast was adequate, with bananas, cereal and bread choices.. There is no meat or eggs. To the negative, there was no office chair in our room,99 I had to use my computer in bed. The internet did not work more than 3-4 minutes and then shut down again. The computer in the lobby didn't have) a word processing program and likewise had no internet. After supper we went through the lobby The night desk guy hadโน his naked feet up on the lobby furniture.

If your thinking about staying here, THINK AGAIN! The room we were given, (119) was very dirty. Examples, the couch was so dirty we couldn't sit on it, the windows were so dirty, one could barely see through them. We were in town for a funeral so didn't want to have to go out and look elsewhere. Luckily we only stayed one night. See pictures.

Ok โœ‹๐Ÿ›‘ things to know about this place. (I travel for work and live out of a suitcase 6-8 months a year). My room has crack in the bathtub, so the floor moves underneath my feet as I shower after work each day. (Hoping I don't fall through to first floor ๐Ÿ™ Jesus please keep me safe, Amen... I feel safer already). My room is somewhat ok other then that.... EXCEPT for the booger ๐Ÿ‘ƒ right next to my toilet paper and a dried up blood splatter next to it... not cleaning it, seeing if they'll catch it.... 3rd day... Yep still there. (Nastey if you ask me). Also no daily room service ( I'm here for 3 weeks ). Eventually I'll be begging for towels and toiletries. The washing machine that charges $2.50 is ok-ish at washing clothes. The dryer is older at $2.00 a cycle, but drys fantastic ๐Ÿ‘. The ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ Indian owner and his employees are nice, polite, and soft spoken. They are attentive when I call to office or stop by to speak with them๐Ÿ™ (thank you). They are helpful to their best ability. I do appreciate that. They seem nice and fair at the surface. BUT ๐Ÿ›‘ AND READ THIS!!! MY co-workers are paying $450 a week for their 2 queen beds. When I got the room 3 days ago I was told that my rate (single person with 2 queen beds ๐Ÿ›Œ was going to cost me $504 a week. When I asked why I'm PAYING different RATE then my co-workers here's what I was TOLD (by owner)... Due to low rooms availability and other hotels ๐Ÿจ being SOLD out, the price IS adjusted accordingly DUE to DEMEND. (Paraphrasing) (Yes I feel less AMERICAN and like a 2ND class Citizen). My rate is just under $74 a night๐ŸŒ™. So CONCLUSION IS ๐Ÿ“ฝ๐ŸŽฌ๐ŸŽž MY week ends in 4 days.... I'm going to MERRILL hotel in downtown. 99.999999% better (in every capacity). And I was able to bargain with those folks for a fee of $98 a night ๐ŸŒ™ . Yes that hotel is somewhere between 4-5 star ๐ŸŒŸ. (Actual rating). DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO THIS HOTELS RATING!!!! (The have a sign at the front desk (4x11') that says : I quote " please give us 5 STAR ๐ŸŒŸ REVIEW AND GET A FREE BAG OF CHIPS!!!! (not kidding). So if you're into praying while showering ๐Ÿšฟ, and you're ok with sub-par cleanliness, and you're ok with giving 5 STAR ๐ŸŒŸ review for a bag of chips ๐ŸŸ..... THAN this place is for YOU!!! (I have integrity so I'll be staying at MERRILL HOTEL ๐Ÿจ. (Once again, they are respectful, polite, and attentive.... just EXPECT to pay different RATES based on their perception. I'll be at the MERRILL...

This will never work Again.I am a truck driver.and a Disable Vet.I looked at the pics and seen tubs in the Pics. The day before I called and ask Do You Have Rooms with Out Tubs? She said the Accessible Rooms.I said ok .the next day i show up with my Service Animal and on my Cane to get a Room. And ask for a Room with out a Tub! The cold weather messes with my Knee so a tub is difficult sometimes getting in and out of.Go to the Handicap room a Giant Tub with a Tall Tub Wall! Red Flag went back she checked other room a Tub.Now Mind you of your in a Wheel Chair and have Mobility Issues this would not work for you at All!! All so the hallways and the breakfast area no Heat Freezing Cold.I Kid you not.they dont even stay at the front desk because its so cold! She has a space heater on the counter facing her. Also i came when a cold front was coming thru no Heat on in the Rooms so you have to Warm the room up as soon as you get in there! Next Morning go to breafast Sunday Morning its Freezing cold trying to make a Waffle.made it took back to the room. The Family that owns and service the hotel lives in the hotel.and they are walking around with winter coats on I kid you not. THIS WAS ONE OF MY WORST EXPERIENCES EVER IN MY 58 YRS...
