Rick's Barbecue — Restaurant in Muscle Shoals

I ordered the chicken sandwich combo that included seasoned fries and a lemonade. The cost was $9.80, I gave her a $10 dollar bill and she took it and gave me my lemonade and straw then closed the window. When she returned a few minutes later to the window she started to quote me someone else's bill and food, and asked me for payment again. I started to explain that I had already paid when she looked at me then down and handed me my bag with my chicken sandwich and seasoned fries. I was so flustered and had a long line of cars behind me so I pulled off not realizing that I never got my change back and I wasn't given a receipt or asked if I wanted it. $.20 cents isn't much and I would have been glad to put it in their change or donation jug if I would have been asked or even offered it back. It is just the principle of the exchange I didn't feel was a good drive-thru experience. Now to the food, I really liked the lemonade and the seasoned fries but the pulled chicken sandwich was only so-so. It was lacking flavor and seasoning. The meat was very dry and plain tasting to me even after I poured the provided white sauce cup on it twice and used more to finally dip the sandwich into it. I have eaten the stuffed baked potatoes several times and been completely blown away by them but I went with the sandwich this time because I was driving home from an appointment and didn't want to go...

This is for the wilson dam location. I typically go here after gym Saturday and have for 5 weeks. The staff are incompetent and don't care about their job. The sweet tea is always empty in the lobby, the workers literally walk and work at a snail pace. Example, normally drive thru is wrapped around, so i go inside, I get to see the staff. They are backed up not because they are so good, but they don't move any purpose at all. The cashier moves slow to where it takes them 3 minutes plus to take the order. It's a refection on the gm and assistant gm there that they allow incompetent people work there, and/or lack the leadership to run a half good shift. I will literally drive an each 10 minutes from now on to lawlers to get my post workout...

ricks 2nd and last time getting my things wrong. I went about a week ago and i ordered mozzarella sticks and a milkshake. i was inside for abt 15 mins waiting on both finally gives me the mozzarella stick and says to me “we ran out of mozzarella sauce “ so why wasn’t i told this before i ordered? i also went today i just rubbed it off. so i ordered a baked potato with pork and was asked “ do you want any extra sauce on the side “ i replied “yes white sauce please “ so i check as i get my food everything looks fine until i get home and i have “ mild sauce “ i don’t not want that sweet sauce...
