So, the ice-cream. I am typically a custard fan, but this ic cream is amazing! I felt like the consistency was closer to custard than other varieties of ice cream i have had and it was super creamy. They have 20 flavors, a couple seasonal. And once they are out of a flavor you may have to wait til the next week when they make some more. It’s a local place and the owners are hard at work keeping the ice cream stocked for the week.

I got a medium dish with malted Milk Ball and Totally Coconut. Both were amazing. It was two large scoops and I could not finish it all. My husband got salted caramel in a waffle cone. I got a bit and it was amazing. The flavors we tried were so rich. We were told about the candy flavors, think Reese’s or snickers, and how it is not just a vanilla with candy bits mixed in. They make it so the whole ice cream represents the flavor. Sounds amazing.

My husband, baby and I were so pleased with the quality of the ice cream and the friendliness of the staff that we will be back to try more flavors! Ted and Sue, the wonderful owners, greeted us right away when we walked in. They were very welcoming and great hosts. After letting them know it was our first time there, Ted took us through a great explanation of what they serve. I chose a medium blue moon dish and my husband chose a four-dish flight of chocolate, raspberry cheesecake, snickerdoodle and Reese's peanut butter cup. Needless to say, it was all delicious, but a little too much. We ended up asking for some covers and enjoying the rest another time. Out of all five flavors that we tried, Reese's peanut butter cup was my favorite, and the raspberry cheesecake and snickerdoodle were more second and third best. Frozen Frog Ice Cream is hands down the BEST ice cream shop I have been to. The quality of their ice cream is unmatched! It is the creamiest, most flavorful ice cream that I have come across. Upon walking in the door, there is a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Unlike chain ice cream places that really want to get you in and out as fast as they can, the owners of Frozen Frog Ice Cream are genuinely friendly and welcoming people whose care in their product and business are obvious. The owners are such a cute couple that opened the place all by themselves!

They offer 20 flavors of “super premium” ice cream (a title that fits the quality of their product perfectly). They also offer Flights where you can choose four or ten flavors!
