Navarro's Mexican Takeout — Restaurant in Muskegon Heights

My husband and I deliver for door dash and there have been several times weve gotten an order from here . First time wasnt bad but second time we picked up order (which we have to place) was horrible. Guy named Rico was working the window. I ordered my customers food. He was very rude to start with. Showed no enthusiasm at all of helping customers. Second because my order came out to ocer $17.00 more than what my customer had already paid door dash (because they wanted certain items that didnt come already on there so they were charged extra, they substituted some chips for Doritos etc.) Basically they were charged $17 for extra items and because my order has a specific amount my (door dash credit card) will allow it was declined. Which led me to have to call company to get an approval (its a fraud thing make sure people arent stealing from company) I explained to Rico I needed him to place order and I will call card and have fixed and when order is done I will pay for it. He refused I told him I was on a specific time scheduled meaning I have a certain time to pick up and certain time to deliver and I have to meet that delivery time. He refused a second time finally some girl came out from back didn't say a word and handed him a piece of paper. I stepped outside to call company for approval. My husband went back inside to deal with it and let them know it was approved. When they bagged food it was all just thrown in containers very sloppy and bagged with the lids not even closed. We will never again take an order from this place until they learn respect. We are paying customers as well. Taco Bell makes better food. Even...

We were looking for takeout food on a Sunday, we decided to check this place out based on a friend recommendation. We showed up anticipating placing a takeout order, assuming a short wait, and it definitely was that. The neighborhood was a little bit iffy, with bars on the windows of the building, and there was really no parking lot, so street parking only. It's very small inside with an order/pickup Window and no seating. There's a big menu on the wall with pictures, and paper menus to read and/or take with you. The lady working was very very helpful with recommendations, explaining dishes, and helping us to decide what to order. Fantastic customer service. The food came out EXTREMELY fast. I actually couldn't believe it was already our order. We got an array of items and everything was pretty good. We got the Panchita, which was like loaded nachos, and it was good, but being takeout, it was soggy by the time we ate it. The spicy tamales were good but dry, and I would probably try those again. Just heard Navarro's got a $10,000 grant. What a WASTE of money! They should have given that grant to a restaurant that is actually opens for business because this place is Always closed. Shame on you Navarro's for taking that money when there are plenty of real restaurant that could have used it. THEY seriously call themselves the best Mexican food in Muskegon, what a Joke! Go to Rosita's if you want delicious authentic dishes.

There are a couple of acceptable nonchain places in muskegon but you are Not one of them. You have the same complaints throughout the years that clearly are not being addressed.
