Wow! Shocked at the rudeness of the two young ladies at this location...the way they conducted themselves was completely unprofessional, they were snide, contemptuous children. We arrived ten to fifteen minutes before they closed shop, and were immediately informed that, since it was so close to closing time, they were only serving single flavor snowcones...well that wasn't a big deal. We assumed that was the policy for being so close to close. The tone of voice the young lady was speaking to my wife and I, was seeming like we were bothering them by giving them sales...IDK if management has been informed of the overall attitude and contemptuous manner in which they address their customers with, but that was unacceptable by any stretch of the imagination...I've worked in several food service businesses and I wouldn't have ever treated customers in the way we were treated this evening. I sure hope management actually reads this review, and takes the necessary disciplinary action to correct the ridiculously rude actions and attitudes of the evening shift employees. We will definitely not be returning in the evening again. My wife asked for their managers name and phone number four times, and the first time she got a really rude, "WHAT?!?" Upon repeating herself three more times, the girl gave her a run around answer, and told her "she isn't allowed to give out that information, we have to message the manager through Facebook and they'd get back to us", and refused to even give her the managers name so she could address the complaint in a more direct manner. I try to be fair with my reviews of places I visit, even when we receive not so good service. The way the young woman acted towards us was astonishingly rude, and I hope she doesn't treat every customer like that. Through my years of working in food service establishments, even on my worst days I had never acted that way towards the people who are keeping me in a paycheck and a job...I'm sure if management had witnessed her conduct to us this evening, she'd be fortunate to receive just a write up IMHO.
Again, I really try to be fair with my reviews, and I like this snowcone place, the daytime crew is absloutely awesome, and we will continue to buy from this establishment during the daytime shift, because they do have great snowcones and get them out quick and have a ton of different good flavors. I sure hope other customers didn't have the same unpleasant experience as we had this evening. I don't think my wife and I had been treated in such a disrespectful manner by anyone we were buying things from....ever.
I'd like to know if the single flavor only thing is an actual store policy near closing time, to me that sounds a little screwballish, but really, that was the least of the issues we dealt with this evening. I mean good lord, I figure it's just the way the newest generation seems to conduct themselves towards others, but to treat customers like they're an inconvenience to sell products to, they should find another line...
Read moreThe only reason this location didn’t get a 1 STAR review is because you can’t get any worse than their other location in Yukon. Our first visit to this location went great. The snow cones were great and service was great. However, the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th visits have been nothing short of a DISAPPOINTMENT.
For starters, they have a “credit card minimum “ hand written on this tiny sheet of white paper that you can’t see until you’re at the window. So, say you want 1 snow cone and only have a card. You’d wait in line for 20 minutes just to get to the window and discover you’re not getting a snow cone because you don’t have any cash and their CC minimum is $13 (can’t remember the exact amount).
Laslty, snow cones aren’t hard to make. Shave the ice, put it in a cup and add syrup. 3 primary steps, but yet you guys are hiring kids that can’t even do that right? AND they take an ETERNITY. I’m honestly surprised both locations haven’t flopped yet. If this were my business, I’d be...
Read moreMake sure you check your kids snow cones if they wanna grab it from the window themselves because 2 out of 4 times we went, they charged me for gummy bears my kid asked for but did not receive . My kid doesn’t speak up about it until we get home btw so we just eat it anyway and take the loss. We spend $10+ for just us two, for a small and a kiddie size ( the two smallest sizes) because of the add ons we love. $10+! I don’t mind paying for good quality add ons/snow cones but I would like to get everything I actually paid for. I see all these good reviews and it’s a let down because 2 times out of 4 is too many, especially when it’s not a big order
Edit to add: we come here every other day almost and it’s always the best customer service and best snow cones I’ve had in my life! They always have great attitudes here. I recommend this place to everyone in my life! They always offer a pup cup to my puppy. WE...
