Pavilion Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Myrtle Beach

Server not friendly at all!!! I never understand this. Come on.... You are working for tips... Food was okay.

She bought me a Chardonnay; I order a Cabernet. I could have told her but she plopped it down and scurried away. I was surprised because she hadn't taken my food order yet.I didn't she her for 10 minutes.

She finally stopped by to take my order and I told her about the wine order. She insisted I ordered Chardonnay (100% sure that did not occur). She eventually brought me the correct wine. The glass was dripping red wine. She did wipe the glass off using my napkin.

I ordered a burger (ordered medium rare) but it was served well very done. Perhaps it is the only option but if I would have been told it was the only option, I would have changed my order. Tried to flag her down but she ignored me. She never did come back so I ate it because I was hungry and had a flight to catch.

Finally, the check arrived. I'm her defense she did not become friendly even though this is the time when she is about to receive her tip. She should want me to be happy at this point. She slammed the check down on the table. She didn't say "how was the food", "need anything else", Nada...

She picks it up quickly and eventually brings it back She didn't say "thank you', "have a nice flight", "how was your food".......

BUYER BEWARE. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Unfortunately, we failed to read reviews before ordering. Atmosphere was fine. Server was polite. Food was TERRIBLE.

I ordered fish and chips(fries) and my boyfriend ordered chicken strips with fries. The food came out and it looked like boxed freezer food. We’re not picky eaters by any means nor did we want to waste our money so we gave it a try. Trust me when I tell you this is straight up freezer food. It tasted like processed food straight from the frozen food section. The fish and chips were priced at 25.99 and the chicken strips were 16.99!

As we looked around at other peoples plates we noticed the food was barely eaten, even the kids weren’t eating it!

After reading other reviews, a person who ordered the fish and chips stated it was still frozen in the middle (that review was about a year before mine). Obviously, they haven’t changed their ways. Even the server said he hears all day about how bad the food is. ...

Menu is misleading. Ian, the bartender, was very specific that they didn’t have happy hour. It’s on the sign from 4-7pm, and they close at 5:30pm. The items I ordered did NOT look as they were pictured on the menu. Served in cheap, dirty plastic baskets with a wax paper liner. Prices are super crazy. I guess all the food service people in this airport work for the same company (which all have different menu options and drives) This restaurant has a kid, Daniel?, who was wearing no a nacho hippo T-shirt while working at pavilion. I was confused, I assumed he was eating there- not that I was supposed to wait for him to be done flirting with the staff to offer me (and others) a seat. This morning We has to wait while Valarie was done eating before should got up from her table to serve us. Also had to wait for her to come back, from I’m not sure where, to ask to pay.
