Tacos El Tesorito Taco Truck — Restaurant in Nampa

I’m pretty picky when it comes to tacos and I seem to have a hard time finding ones I like. I decided to give this place a shot and this was the best decision I made all day. The carne asada melts in your mouth and the salsas have great flavors! There was no fat in the meat like other places I’ve had. The quesadillas were ok but a little on the dry side. They were Very basic with cheese and meat so their isn’t much to it. I wasn’t a fan of the chicken tamales because it was a little dry but once we got past the dry part it was amazing. I’m not sure why half of it was dry and the other moist. I’ll give the tamales another shot before I make my final verdict. Overall I would highly recommend this place and it will be my go to...

Definitely a 5 star. Probably a 9.2 out of 10. I started with 2 Adobada, 2 Carnitas and 2 Chorizo, finished those and had to go and order 2 more, Cabeza and Adobada. They're all so good. Nothing dry about them. Tortillas are good and all the carne was fantastic. Red and green salsa was fine, not amazing but very standard and complimentary to the delicious tacos. One table with an umbrella or front, parking at the shop or behind the truck. Fast and well priced ($2.50 a piece). I reached out to Tacos El Tesorito via text message around 9 or 10am Sunday April 5th, 2020 about purchasing tamales. They were quick to respond back and I was able to reserve a dozen pork tamales. She opened the truck at 11:30 am Sunday (the same day I reached out) and I'm so glad I reserved some because she was only open for a total of 6 minutes and she was already out of tamales.
