El Sabor Mexican Restaurant & Tortilleria — Restaurant in Nampa

My friend and I placed an order to go, we ordered 8 birria tacos and one quesadilla. According to the website, it says that the birria tacos are $2.50 a piece and then quesadilla is $7.50. When we arrived to get our food and pay our total came to around $40. Our order should’ve been no more than $30 and when asked why it was so much they said “this was the cheapest way possible to ring it up.” Then about 10 minutes after leaving I called from the same number I placed the order with, no answer. Which is funny because when I was there, there were three waitresses and no other customers. Then my friend called from her cell phone and they answered immediately. After we politely told them that we still didn’t understand why they over charged us, they told us that they changed prices because the price of meat went up, which is understandable but it is posted nowhere on the menu like they stated it was. They were rude and the food was mediocre, we only ordered from them because our fave place was really busy. Also, when you pay with a card they automatically charge you 15% gratuity with no way to make a custom tip. Not okay to take MORE money...

I have ordered from this restaurant multiple times on DoorDash and usually it’s really good but I don’t think I’ll ever eat here again. I absolutely lost my appetite for my favorite food birria tocos. The doe for the “tortilla” is raw and these are not tocos and looks and tastes like mush. Hopefully I won’t get sick from the doe “ tortilla “ that was clearly not cooked. This “new owner” obviously needs to see a health inspection in that restaurant if this is what they are...

This restaurant was a great find! My husband and I were searching for a new Mexican place due to prices being so high and the larger restaurants. Beli's is our new favorite.
