Ming Hao Restaurant — Restaurant in Nampa

Disgusting absolutely disgusting! I purchased through doordash for delivery tonight April 15th 2019. Our order consisted of Mandarin Chicken General Chicken potstickers spring rolls fried rice and fried shrimp and chow mein. I have never had Mandarin Chicken serve to us with breast fillets similar to Katsu with the sauce on the side to where we had to mix it ourselves. The potsticker where in a package tipped on its side in the package was opened up in the bag. The pot stickers were in institutionalize Frozen product definitely not made within the restaurant. The spring rolls were the same way something that was purchased Frozen and dropped in the fryer. The chow mein was extremely dry and had something similar to dry ham on it. The fried rice look like it went through a mixer and was mushy and none of the products had any flavor whatsoever! This was the first time we ordered from this restaurant due to the reviews. You fell way short of your reviews tonight! The following paragraph is the reason for this review. Here's the kicker, I called and spoke to somebody by the name of Eric who told me that there was nothing they can do! That's how you satisfy an unhappy customer? I have seen your Hole in the Wall Restaurant when I have driven by and I've always questioned how the food was. It definitely does not measure up to the reviews. Like I promised, tomorrow I will bring in this bag of food and let you eat it if you feel it was that good. It was that bad and I will definitely not be eating it! Bad food and bad...

Believe the recent google reviews..... We ordered here the other night after seeing a review from someone on Facebook (with pics) raving about how good the food was. Plus we were excited to see if we could find a new regular Chinese place that we didn't have to drive to Boise for. Let's just say, it must have been an owner, employee, or someone associated with the business because the food we got was awful. The pork fried rice and chicken were both old and had a really weird taste to them. Most of the chicken was inedible. It was discolored and hard. I mean, let's be honest, who wants to eat weird looking, rubbery, kinda cold, discolored chicken? I figured the crab rangoon might give them a chance to redeem themselves, it's kinda hard to mess up a crab rangoon, but they sure did. It was so rock hard on the outside that I had to remove most of the wonton wrapper so I wouldnt risk chipping a tooth. You could tell it wasn't fresh at all, and again, it had a really weird taste. It was honestly the saddest over $40 meal for 2 people that I've ever purchased. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time...

I've ordered take-out from here a few times and the food is really good. I wouldn't say the food is perfection (5 stars) so I gave it 4. The pork and chicken chow-mein is REALLY weird. It has the noodles but it also has a TON of sautéed onions, cooked snap peas and carrots. Half of the container is onions if you were to take them all out. It just wasn't for me. Their shrimp and pork fried rice has a good flavor to it and the shrimp were a nice size. It's just more expensive. Their egg drop soup is AMAZING. They actually put enough eggs in it to where it's not just broth. Also, I love LOVE their potstickers!!! They are a nice size and you get 6 of them and the potsticker sauce is awesome as well. You could just order the potstickers for dinner if you wanted to. They have a LOT more on the menu that I have not tried but I would bet most of it tastes really good based off of what I have ordered. So give 'em a try, the food is yummy!
