This is absolutely our new go-to spot for date night. My wife is gluten free, and not treehugger gluten-free, but earlier this year found out she has celiac disease so even the smallest crumb can set her off in pain for hours. Eating at restaurants can be a crapshoot because even though places say they have gluten-free items, there's often cross-contamination and she ends up having a horrible night because of it. This place not only has amazing gluten-free items, but they actually have a separate menu of just gluten-free options. Last night my wife once again had the bacon wrapped dates for an appetizer and the chicken marsala, which was AMAZING, for her main entree. Also the fact that they bring gluten-free bread out for her that actually tastes good puts her on cloud nine. Even more importantly, this is now the second time we've been here in a month-and-a-half and both times now she's had no adverse reactions to eating here so that shows us they take gluten-free seriously which takes a load off her mind when it comes to eating at a restaurant. I tried the eggplant parmesan and it was fantastic. I also had their cherry cheesecake for dessert, which I found out they make in house, and it was ridiculously delicious. Both times we've been here the service has been top-notch. Last night we had Ron, and he was extremely attentive and very friendly so again, I can't say enough positive things about this place. Thanks again for a wonderful date night and we will most definitely...
Read moreI have been to this Biaggi's about ten times. Every time the food has been wonderful and the staff was so attentive and accommodating. I remember one time my toddler was getting impatient for the food to arrive so we went outside to walk around. Our waitress went out of her way to come outside and got us when our food was ready. I have been here twice for private parties, and each one was an absolutely great experience.
June 2025- update: I came with a large party during the week for dinner. Pros- The atmosphere and cleanliness were still great. Our server was kind and attentive. All the food we received was fresh and delicious. They had a gorgeous, well-maintained patio outdoors. Mostly all of our food came out all together. Cons- Our food order was taken almost an hour after we were seated. Large parties need time, but this was excessive, especially on a non-busy evening. Glasses of water were only served upon request, which I found inconvenient, as we all had to keep asking our server for more and more cups of water for everyone. The veggies in the lobster soup were not cooked enough and having to chew ingredients in soup was .. different. The ladies bathroom had a constant high-pitched, beeping noise. Many won't care, but for some it was like nails on a chalkboard. Cons aside, I will always recommend this place. There's a reason they have been there...
Read moreHad dinner at Biaggi’s in Naperville this evening. The food was good and the service by our server Terri was excellent. The issue started at dessert when we ordered Banana Tiramisu, espresso, and Sambuca. The Tiramisu and the espresso were excellent. The issue was with the Sambuca that was served which tasted like rubbing alcohol. We told our server Terri who smelled the Sambuca agreed and then went to talk with management. Terri came back agreeing there was an issue. Terri discussed it with a Vice President of the restaurant who was eating in the restaurant who also ordered the same Sambuca and agreed his drink smelled like rubbing alcohol. Terri the server also observed that the consistency of the liquid did not look right.
We talked with restaurant manager as we left who can across as indifferent to the issue. He never came to our table to discuss the issue nor look into it prior to us leaving which was a good twenty minutes after we reported the issue. As I was leaving I watched the bartender put the bottle of sambuca back on the shelf. I mentioned this to the manager who again came across as indifferent to the issue. I don’t know the managers name but he was in his early sixties black/grey hair and beard.
We have eaten here regularly but will never eat at this restaurant again. I question the ethics of this...
