First & last time we are going here. Came during Ramadan for Iftar and it was a horrible experience. We ordered a rice dish, beef kabobs, lamb kabobs, side of fries, and I also asked for plain water since I don’t drink lemon water. The waiter asked if we wanted bread and we asked if it was complementary or what but we didn’t get a straight answer, but we still said yes. The dish in the picture came first and I figured the other kabob dish was coming and the other food. My friend’s rice dish came and then we asked the waiter if the other kabob dish was coming or if this was it. He said this is it and that the dish was both lamb and beef kabobs. I have been to many restaurants & had kabobs before but never where it only comes with one. It was $15 one beef kabob and $10 for the one lamb kabob. I have seen restaurants where if they only serve one then the menu says one next to it. We start to eat it since we have been fasting all day and I’m still waiting for the fries. Finally, I flag our waiter down because he has not come to our table once the entire evening after he took the order. I ask him if the fries are coming and he says what? Looking confused. And I said I ordered fries, and he looks at me and says no you didn’t. Then he goes ok ill tell them right now to make it. By the time fries come out we were ready to go but we ate the fries quickly. We never got the plain water I asked for in the beginning and the bread never came. When I was looking for someone so we could get the check, he came to our table with the bread after an hour when we were done with everything and says oh you don’t want the bread? at that point I saw another waiter asked for the check. She didn’t understand what I was saying. She grabbed someone else, and I asked the same question. I got the check & we were charged for a side of rice that we never ordered, bread that never came. I asked for a manager & this waiter didn’t know understand me. It took 3 more people who also didn’t understand when I asked to speak to a manager. Finally, after 5th person, the manger comes and I tell her to please remove the charge of rice and bread, I also just explained how the fries came 45 mins after, but the manager just said ok. Not once during our entire experience did, we get an apology from anyone. They gave a free cake & just said things happen when it’s so busy. I have been to many restaurants that are busy especially during Ramadan but never had an experience like this. There seems to be a huge communication barrier because the waiters or anyone working there didn’t understand what we were saying all evening. I guess the first red flag was when I called during the day to change my reservation time, and I got transferred to 3 different people because no one understood me. Btw there was a table of 15 guys sitting next to us who had about 5 waiters and the manager serving them all night. I guess we all don’t get the same service here. Not sure why they were so special. They also have a bell on each table which is interesting and to ring for service. Rang it many times during the evening and no one came. We practically had to stop a waiter walking past...

Read moreI went out to this restaurant a couple hours ago and man was I disappointed. I have never seen such a terrible service in all the restaurants that I had been too. The only decent part about this place was the environment other than that you will be charged crazy prices for the smallest portions and pay for really just nasty food. We had ordered four plates of rice and each one of us choose a different kind of kabob instead of receiveing those four plates we got on big plate with the smallest amount of rice with the skewers surrounding the rice. I was so shocked when they brought the food out like this. The rice was uncooked and salty and the meet was very bland and not longer than 6 inches. They also don’t serve rice with their kabobs everywhere you go they serve rice with the meat this place didn’t. I unfortunately had to fill myself up with bread and fries and will never be coming back. Just wait it gets worse they charge 21% gratitude tip automatically without asking the customer. The lemonade was so watery and had a hint of lemon honestly so disgusted with house dishonest these people are and there prices and portions do not match up whatsoever. After I got home I got a really bad stomach ache and think I might have gotten food poisoned the girls I went with also said they felt sick immediately after we left. I’m not sure how they cook the meat or if it’s old meat but please do yourself the favor and drive maybe 20 more minutes away and get actual quality food instead of going here wasting money on bland and salty food. It’s a very competitive industry this place doesn’t stand a chance if they keep up with how they treat their customers scamming them with crazy portion sizes and charge more then high end restaurants. I thought it would be nice to try Uzbek food but unfortunately this experience was so bad I will never think twice of eating uzbecki food again especially not at this Scam Restaurant. If you actually want to have quality food with reasonable prices go to Noon of Kabob, Kabobi, Kabul House all in Chicago it’s definitely worth the drive instead of...
