This is a honest review - I never go out my way to write one so this should be very telling. This is one of the most horrendous halal food places I have ever tasted in my life. My friends and I goto school near this place and we were pretty hungry so as all Muslims do we searched “halal places near me” and we found this place. The pictures look very good but MAN they are deceiving! I’m 9999% sure they grabbed some photos from google and put it as their own. But regardless me and my friends drove her because it looked pretty good and has very good reviews. LIES! We drove here very confused because the place is inside a supermarket. Which was odd and aroused suspicion and we looked around and saw the prices which were very cheap…we saw this as a win saying me might have found the new spot. We ordered our food. We all got the chicken shawarma. I ordered a dozen falafels for the table and fries. I must say the quantity of food is great you will be extremely full after eating this…if you can swallow that garbage that is…we all took a fry first and man it’s a raw potato with no crunch. I’m like okay it’s cheap it’s fine. We take a bite of the falafel at first great flavor and I’m like “yo this is good” but as I keep chewing man it was RAW. The middle was so undercooked but the outside was super crisp. Not the worst falafel but def undercooked. Now the main course…the chicken shawarma. My friend takes the first bite and shows a face with disgust. His eyes fill with water and he nods no. My heart drops but we all give it a try. Me and my other friend thought it was very very average. Like it’s able to be consumed. We all sat there in silence taking bite after bite because we didn’t want to waste it. Every time we spoke we said yeah it’s not good. My rating started at a 6. But man the more I kept eating the worse it got. My friend takes a bite and says that part tasted “old”/very bad. I said I haven’t gotten anything like that. I keep eating and take the worst bite I have ever taken in my life. I lost my appetite immediately. Wrapped that sad excuse of a shawarma back up. Ate a couple falafels to get that taste out. And left in utter disbelief that this place has good reviews....
