Everyone recently has left 5 stars...I have no idea why. We walked in and stood for about 5 minutes with employees (in black t-shirts and sweatpants...sloppy) seeing us but ignoring us. Finally, a lady made a group move tables and then another lady about 2 minutes later motioned for us to sit at the table the others had just been moved from. I think the ones who were made to move were their family. Still uncomfortable for us. We sit down and were ignored for about 8 more minutes, then a random guy (also in sweatpants) came over with waters. Did not leave any straws or ask if we wanted them. My husband thankfully realized a dead fly was in his water before drinking it. We waited another 5-7 minutes for someone to return and at that point my husband told them he’d like his water replaced, because of the fly in his. All we got was a smile and “oh sorry, sure.” Our party was 7 people total, and we were starving before arriving but it was extremely frustrating seeing that any party 6+ gets slapped with an 18% gratuity charge. We had horrible service but paid 18% tip. Infuriating. I ordered a soda, no mention of it being a can. It was $2.00...for a can of soda. I could buy a can of soda for much less. The bowls for soup are small, not much broth, hardly any meat or toppings (cilantro, green onion, etc.) The fly really makes me question the cleanliness of this place, but as I said we were starving and didn’t want to find yet another place. This was our 3rd attempt at a pho restaurant this night. Had to beg for a tiny bowl of soy sauce when most places have it on the table. Had to ask for straws then stare at a sign that claimed we were harming turtles for using straws. The broth was also more bland than I’ve had before.
We were visiting from out of town and our local pho restaurant is a million times better. If you’re looking for excellent pho,...
Read moreUpdate: This used to be one of my go-to places for Vietnamese food, unfortunately it seemed like new ownership? Last time I was here it was family run. We came here on 7/10/24 and it was like all new staff. Even the clientele was different. There used to be a lot of Vietnamese that would eat there but it’s completely different now. The customer service was like a 2 out of 5. We walked in and no one acknowledged us, so we sat ourselves. We had to wave someone down. We ordered hot tea and pho. The problem was we got the pho before the hot tea. It seemed like the Indian waitress was very inexperienced with customer service. I gave the service a 2 because the Asian girl seemed to be in charge and checked up on us.
I got the chicken pho which is basically just chicken and noodle soup, nothing else. The broth was good. The beef one looked like it had a lot of oil. The menu for July was severely limited for appetizers and entrees. The food was decent but the service sucked.

Food was pretty tasty. Service was good, waitress was attentive. The person below exaggerated on the service and hospitality. One of the best Viet places in the area. They were missing some of my favorite items on the menu though. Restaurant was clean. Plenty of seating.

Read moreIve been going to Pho Thien for years. Its not close to my house, but still I would drive there because I like the food and service. Even during these covid times, even when dine-in was close, I would still order by calling for pick up. I am a creature of habit, so my orders were always the same, P1 pho, C2, C3 or C4 grilled rice plates. I never had a problem or issues getting what I exactly ordered on the phone. But this year, my orders were all messed up. The first time I just let it go. Today tho, I paid $59.00. I ordered the same food. When i went to pick up my food, I checked the order and the white guy (he is new) said thats what I ordered. But he gave me 2 orders of pho and 1 grilled pork rice plate. I corrected him. He said he read back the order to me, which he did and I corrected him on the phone saying I want the pork grilled rice plates. But he insisted that He read it back to me and said " well I cant give this to you for free!".. I was stunned for a few seconds there. I never mentioned that I want free food . Aside from being Asian, who speaks a very good english, I dont think I looked disheveled and homeless and poor that he would accused me of just wanting free food. I was insulted by that. I told him he can keep the food, I just want to get the correct food that I ordered. But he wants me to pay AGAIN for those. I already paid $59 plus tip! Its a to-go order but I gave him a tip!.. The truth is the food is good, but I wont come back or especially call for...
