Schlotzsky’s is a restaurant that truly stands out in the world of fast-casual dining, offering a variety of delicious meals that cater to different tastes and preferences. I recently visited one of their locations and was thoroughly impressed with both the quality of the food and the overall dining experience. From the moment I walked in, I could tell that Schlotzsky’s takes pride in providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff greeted me with friendly smiles, and the restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, setting a positive tone for the meal ahead.
One of the highlights of my visit was the famous “Original” sandwich. This signature dish did not disappoint. The sourdough bread was perfectly toasted, giving it a satisfying crunch, while the combination of meats, cheese, and fresh vegetables inside made for a truly flavorful experience. The sandwich had the perfect balance of savory and tangy flavors, and the generous portion size left me feeling completely satisfied. It’s easy to see why this has become Schlotzsky’s hallmark item, and it certainly lived up to the hype.
In addition to the standout sandwiches, Schlotzsky’s offers a wide range of other menu options, all of which look equally tempting. I decided to try their fresh, crisp salad, which was loaded with high-quality ingredients like ripe tomatoes, cucumbers, and a flavorful dressing. It was the perfect complement to the sandwich, offering a refreshing contrast in texture and taste. I also appreciated the fact that Schlotzsky’s offers gluten-free and vegetarian options, making it a versatile choice for anyone with dietary restrictions.
The service was another aspect that truly made my visit enjoyable. The staff was attentive and efficient, ensuring that my food arrived quickly without feeling rushed. The restaurant had a relaxed, casual vibe, which made it the ideal place for a laid-back meal. I also appreciated that...
Read moreThis is my first review ever I’m not comfortable complaining, however my drive thru experience pushed me to the limit. I pulled into line and there was only 1car in front of me. Ordering went well and then I pulled up to the window behind the same car. It was obvious the customer knew the guy at the window. Talking, laughing back and forth, the customer was handed a cup no lid, drank and returned the empty cup then received a regular size drink. Next the same with a cinnamon roll was handed it while talking and laughing then handed it back to worker before receiving it again. Next came the box holding his food same handed back then received it in a bag. No sense of urgency by the worker, having fun with his friend. Finally it’s my turn and I see a bag on the counter. He had someone else take my money and give me change. Drink wasn’t poured and about 5 minutes later he hands me the bag that was sitting there all the time. Get home was missing the chips and sandwich is cold, I live very close. I can handle mistakes and understand, but this was inexcusable service. No long line, nothing difficult about my order. I called and was told to come back for my chips. How about take my name and make it up on the next visit - come to think of it - that won’t happen again. This worker is the reason kids these days are called horrible workers. He was lazy, more concerned about goofing around and not interested in doing his job. This was my second experience in the drive thru with an item missing in 2 weeks. Train your workers, explain the drive thru isn’t the place to catch up with friends when there’s a line, and make sure to check what they’re...
Read moreWent in to try this place out for this first time Monday night 1/27/25. Unfortunately I am unable to rate the food because we were never approached by anyone to take our order. There was a gentleman in the back that looked at me and then walked to the back never even acknowledging us. I noticed there was a door bell affixed to the counter that said “press for service”. I had y daughter press the bell, and again no one. The same man came back up looked at me and turned around again to head in back. I figured maybe he was going to let someone know we were at the front to order. After about 2 minutes the man peeped back out again, looked at me and turned around to go back deeper into the kitchen. No one ever came up front. It appears Schlotzky’s must be doing pretty well if they don’t need our business. I understand maybe a counter person wasn’t available, but train the staff to at least say hello and someone will be with you in a minute. To not say anything left a very bad taste in my mouth. We ended up leaving since nobody came up front or even acknowledged us being in the restaurant. There are too many choices out here, and a business that doesn’t even acknowledge their customers certainly didn’t need my business that night. I was really looking forward to trying this place out. You only get one time to make a first impression, and you guys certainly failed here. Hopefully you can train your staff to acknowledge your customers that want to spend their hard earned money on 12-15...
