The White Sheep — Restaurant in Naperville

The message is for the manager, Nicole Paxton: My husband and I were walking in our neighborhood and realized White Sheep Naperville finally opened. We decided to dine in for breakfast. However, I had my coffee in my hand. The girl at the front not sure if it was you or a hostess who told me I need to put my coffee back in my car or drink it quickly before dining. I told her I live a few blocks away and walked over and Ididn't drive. I told her we will be ordering 2 breakfasts though. She said, nope, its our policy. I understand there are policies. I totally get it. If she said it nicely and in a different tone, such as "I'm sorry you can't bring outside coffee in its our policy, I will let you this time but, its not allowed in the future." My response what have been noted, thank you. I got it. So obviously we walked out. Her demeanor was unprofessional. A more courteous approach, such as acknowledging the policy while offering a one-time exception, would have been appreciated. Unprofessional for sure and not a welcoming feeling that others in the neighborhood make you feel when entertaining their...

The best brunch place we’ve ever had and it’s not even close! You can tell they sweat the details cause this was brunch on another level! My wife had the buenos dias and couldn’t stop raving about it! Huge portion, quality ingredients, everything cooked perfectly, and every bite delicious! I had the breakfast gnocchi dish with steak, which is so genius to have gnocchi as a potato option for brunch! I got the steak a little pink and it was so juicy and tender! With so many drink options it was hard to pick but we tried the strawberry ginger and the black & white mocha latte, which were amazing but the latter with a chocolate peanut butter doughnut was sublime! As with the food, the drinks are a generous serving size! By the way the giant doughnuts and creative desserts themselves warrant a visit! We found out they just opened and the service was excellent! Hands down the best breakfast place I have ever been to in a while. I’ve been to buttermilk and all but this place is at a different level. The food came out sooo fast! We brought my very picky five year old and he asked me if he could have both the cheese burger and pancakes and order more!? I had the Buenos Dias bowl and the flavors are just right! We ordered drinks of course. The strawberry ginger mocktail was so delicious my five year old was fighting with my partner over it. The donuts are delicious. Our favorite was the peanut butter cup and the one with pretzel and chocolate on top. They go so well w coffee!
