Our first visit today, a Sunday. First impressions: Austin food truck attitude. Laid back, hip, Reggae music filled the air, well-landscaped, modern outdoor furniture (no indoor eating!), good luck finding a parking space—don’t panic use the area across the street. The well-managed, clean establishment was doing a brisk business but patrons waited patiently & politely in line to order. Although seating was tight, everything worked out with little muscle-flexing or elbow jostling. Refreshing! The food was novel, tasty, nothing fancy or pretentious. (We has variations of the rotisserie chicken in sandwiches.) I can easily imagine returning with friends for cocktails, uncomplicated food and a fun evening under the stars. Oh yeah. Dogs are welcome. Ours found a shady space on his mat under our table. Waitress even offered him water. Nice. There were other happy pets with their owners. A great find for everyone in the family to enjoy an afternoon or evening out. Too bad not everyone acts responsibly. Two older ladies with 2 unleashed chihuahuas caused a stir upon leaving when their dogs attacked a well-behaved dog waiting with its master in line. The ladies took the event far too lightly not realizing that their dogs could have been reduced to shark chum if the attackee were not so mellow. There was no need for this unfortunate incident and it shows a lack of consideration for others on the part of the owners. (Don’t take your pet along if it can’t behave in public! If you bring your pet along, be considerate of other guests and other pets!) Sure hope these types of folks don’t wreck it for us all. We like the youthful vibe and the fun food selections....

Friendly Helpful Front Of House Staff, Only outside seeting in a covered area with fans(addition is coming with indoor dining) The food we ordered & ate was wonderful. Very delicious & a somewhat fresh approach to your common burgers! I myself ordered the Lake Park Burger cooked medium came with fries or house salad. Cooked Perfectly!!! Came Medium!!! Although the French fries have too much Dried Parsley dusted on them for Garnish, it's too much! My wife had the Farmhouse Burger with the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Breast instead of the Burger Patty!! Special Request Granted!! Chef says Not When They're Busy In Season!(BS) She loved it. It was super delicious & the staff commented that they already ordered one the same way for dinner!!! Honestly it is a very smart concept with just a few issues in my opinion and they're the following; Prices are high even for Naples, music too loud, Pay and Tip before you eat is silliness! How am I too know, how much I would like to Tip? Not much room for parking but it isn't terrible. Could get crowded because of the limited seating & space! The Special Shakes looked absolutely incredible & at $15+ each they ought to be absolutely amazing! Classic Shakes $5.99. To wrap my review up with a bow on top. I will say we'll be back to try out the different & unique menu items they offer! We will try the special shakes and I will update when I have eaten them! Give them a try, they're actually a breath of fresh air in Naples & there isn't a place...
Read moreLake Park Diner is an awesome place to eat, and their food is always top notch. I always look forward to stopping in when I cross the state. In person experience 5/5
This review is for a to-go order milkshake. After always seeing the amazing milkshakes come out when we eat there, we were super excited we could finally have some appetite left to order one on our drive back across the state. We ordered super late, and were grateful that the staff was cool with it (we made sure it was ok with them over the phone).
Our fruit loop to-go milkshake did not come with any fruit loops, nor the donut, or whipped cream, and was just a small cup of strawberry milkshake, which for $14 is pretty steep. It felt like we paid full price for 1/4 of the experience. If the takeout ingredients are going to be less than the menu item, it might be nice to make a to-go price so you don't expect one thing and get another. I'm not sure what the vegain cookies and cream normally looks like, so I can't really confirm what that looks like in person to compare my experience, but I'm happy it wasn't another shake that came with cake that probably wouldn't have been there. For $35 total, we were left severely disappointed, especially knowing that we drove an hour just to make it there, and there were definitely cheaper options along the way.
