Lakeside Dairy Bar — Restaurant in Naples

After my own experience and reading the other reviews, they must feel personally attacked whenever someone communicates to them about their allergies. Maybe they think allergies are bogus? You can watch them dip the same scoop into multiple buckets, so I couldn't NOT say, "I have a chocolate allergy, does _ have it? I just want to make sure."

There have been times I've felt it wasn't necessary to mention the allergen and after someone spent their time making it or after I had a few bites only then do I discover chocolate wasn't listed in the product description and/or name (it's not a common allergen, so I get that).

I mean, I'm sorry I have to offend you with the existence of allergens, but I do find breathing to be a good time. Suffocating is also just so much more dramatic than a simple statement and question,...

Amazing service and yummy treats. My family and I live in Sebago and was picking up our teenager from work at captain jacks. He worked all day and we wanted to treat him to ice cream! Well you were so busy and a long line and we jumped right in and got our ice cream. Well after we ate we noticed you closed. Well we realized you close at 8pm! We ordered I think at 8:30pm. You took our business with no hesitation! So well that we had no idea you were supposed to be closed. Your staff was amazing, polite, and quick! This establishment is incredible. You will not find a more efficient dairy bar. Some people say, "Giffords Ice Cream tastes the same everywhere", and they are frankly wrong. It is the best here. The consistency is held perfectly without a spec of freezer-burn. Even with a line of 50 people out their window, they deliver scoop after scoop like a well oiled machine. The location, at the top of the causeway, like the ultimate scoop on a towering waffle cone, provides the perfect starting point for a walk around the bridge and back (example tested using large cone, experience may differ based on cone size and stride).
