Jamaican Me Crazy is so rich, smooth and carries notes of Rum and Mexican liquors.
Perfect and bracing while bird watching!
Oh, this business is STUPENDOUS! I'd purchased another bag of their Jamaica Me Crazy blend and upon opening & brewing, it smelled wonderful, but not Jamaica-y.
Don't get me wrong, I got my money's worth as none of their coffees are "just" coffees - they're ALL wonderful! I was happy to simply let them know the blend didn't taste or smell like the JMC I expected.
So I called and spoke to a lovely employee, who immediately and sincerely apologized, connecting me with a manager who bent over BACKWARDS to send me another 2-lb bag! She insisted - even though it wasn't necessary. I've fallen in love with their coffee - period!
But the manager insisted, was very apologetic, and asked specifics about what I received, which is what good management does, to ensure future customers don't experience the same thing. I'm blown over! Perfectly kind, sincere, and professional.
The replacement arrived only 3 days after I called (same time frame for the previous order - they understand coffee lovers). It's the real deal - the JMC blend I love.
Thank you, everyone, especially that stellar manager and employee, who proved that supporting this local is not only good for me, but for everyone.
I have a lot of coffee to drink for now, but I'll be back! ♥
Update: 09/04/2023 Ahhhh! The latest 2-lb bag of Jamaica Me Crazy arrived only two days after ordering and is DELICIOUS! ♥ Packaging intact, and well sealed. When opened it was an experience in itself! Mmmmmm!
Still the perfect companion for bird watching! ...
Read moreI recently visited Main Street Roasters in Nappanee, Indiana, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment I walked into the cozy, inviting coffee shop at 105 N Main St, I was greeted by the warm aroma of freshly roasted coffee and a friendly staff that made me feel right at home. The atmosphere is perfect—charming, with eclectic decor, plenty of natural light, and a variety of seating options, including a cozy loft and a kid’s play area that’s great for families.
The coffee was outstanding. I tried their Highlander Grogg, and the rich, buttery flavor with a hint of caramel was divine. My friend ordered the Main Street Blend, and we both agreed it was some of the best coffee we’ve had in Indiana. They roast their beans on-site, and you can taste the quality in every sip. The menu also impressed with delicious pastries (the raspberry scone was a highlight!) and hearty lunch options like the chicken pesto flatbread and white chicken chili, which were fresh and flavorful.
The service was top-notch—quick, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It’s clear this family-owned gem, established in 2003, is a community hub. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee to-go or settling in for a relaxing afternoon, Main Street Roasters delivers an exceptional experience. I’m already looking forward to my next visit and highly recommend it to anyone passing...
Read moreI'll admit, I was skeptical at first. But once I had that first sip of Main Street Blend I was sold. I found Main Street Roasters through the Ghostrunners Podcast. At first, I thought it was just another one of their sponsors that would disappear in a few weeks. But they stuck around. After a couple of months of hearing Jake and Brad talking about Main Street and telling stories about their fans appreciating the coffee, I caved. I ordered my first bag of beans. The delivery was fast, the packaging was phenomenal, and my car even received a little Main Street Roasters sticker. The coffee itself is like nothing I've ever tasted before. Whenever I have people over, I always offer them a pot of the best coffee on planet earth. Recently, I emailed them with a custom order in mind. Jackie was super helpful in getting the order set up, and it just came today. While I haven't yet been able to visit them in-person, I can't wait for the day I finally walk in those doors. I highly recommend Main Street Roasters as your new coffee provider. Once you're hooked, you'll never be able to go...
