Worst customer service I’ve experienced in a very long time!!! Greeted the man with a big smile and friendly hello at the check out. To be met with nothing but nasty rude behavior for the entirety of our check out experience. He was visibly annoyed and making comments complaining to his coworkers about how much stuff I had purchased. While huffing and puffing loud enough for us to hear. I was honestly shocked at his complete lack of respect for customers spending their hard earned money. And his careless attitude about other coworker’s customers and possible management that could potentially hear or witness this behavior. Another customer in the next check out isle was sympathetic to me and expressed concern with his attitude towards us . He continued to snap at myself and my husband not to touch anything on the conveyor belt. While mind you we were standing at the opposite end completely away from the belt entirely . Simply waiting to pay and leave bcuz of how disrespectful he was about us trying to help him load stuff. It was ridiculous to the point we thought we were being pranked. The amount of money we spent and was not even given a smile, greeting, or a have a nice day was truly disgusting. I did mention it to the manager because I needed him to be aware. He was very nice and apologetic. However I wanted nothing else to just leave the store at that point. But upon leaving we were stopped to of course check our receipt, which is no problem what so ever .The lady opened our receipt , saw how it was double the length of a typical recipet . Also could clearly see the SIGNIFICANT amount of money we had just spent. But still told us to “pull over “ to the side so she could make sure everything was accounted for. And proceeded to waste our time. Going through our items and receipt sloppily you could tell she wasn’t doing a through job but rather just had a certain pre existing judgment. Treating us paying customers unfairly as if we had done something wrong. It was a truly such an awful, sad and disappointing experience . We are canceling our...
Read moreI have been a BJs shopper for over 15 years and am unfortunately canceling my membership and trying Costco after the horrible experience I just had at the Nashua NH location. This location has been going downhill for years: items are constantly out of stock, employees are miserable, tires services are impossible to schedule etc.. the app glitches like many other apps do, oftentimes not pulling every clipped coupon off the purchase and resulting in a trip to customer service which is a pain. Today I was at the Nashua location having another underwhelming experience. I go up to self checkout scan all of the items and put the light on for assistance as the Claritin coupons did not come off, the PopTarts coupon did not come off and an “exclusively for you” for frozen Tyson chicken. One of the very sullen front end women that always works there, comes over and is immediately rude and cuts me off several times as I am speaking. She was aggravated that I asked for the Claritin to be voided, the pop tarts coupon also had a fuel perk with it. She puts in a generic 2 dollar coupon which takes care of the missing coupon issue but doesn’t assign the fuel perk to me. I tried 3 different times to ask this woman how the fuel perk would be added to my account when she just added a generic coupon to offset it. She would not let me finish speaking once, very rudely telling me that the fuel perk won’t show on the checkout screen (which I am fully aware of). I asked her to not speak to me the way she was and she responds that I need to stop getting upset in the most condescending tone then walks away. I left and still of course know that I will not be receiving the fuel perk I should be credited. I was a retail director for 15 years and fully understand how her job functionally works and where she failed miserably. Retail companies need to truly start taking seriously the culture they are allowing in their store and hold teams...
Read moreSo this morning, I called BJ’s because I wanted to check and make sure that they repair tires which they do, anyways when I had called I gave them my location and so they said that there was availability. They had bays available, and I could go there and they would service my tire. I didn’t need an appointment. So I drive all the way to the store under the impression that I’m going to get my tire patched. I get there and wait forever for the person to acknowledge my existence, because there’s only one person running the entire tire center. I’m told they can’t service my car, without apology. They can’t help me for over a week that he’s booked straight out. I’m like that’s not what I was told on the phone. So while I was in there I called back the representative that had gave me that information in the first place. So I guess I pay for an elite membership at BJ’s for nothing because if I’m not buying four new tires I don’t rate, because all I want is to get a patch on my tire. I watched the bay sit empty for 20 minutes while I was on the phone lodging my complaint. I was offered 20 rewards loaded to my account. Which I never received. This corporation charges every single one of its members for the privilege to shop there or to obtain the tire services but they don’t want to pay employees. My daughter has applied for that tech position twice in the past two months And she has experience and they still haven’t hired her. So BJ’s is taking everybody’s memberships taking that money freely, aren’t you? but when it comes to me getting the service that I’m paying for ……all crickets…….because you don’t wanna put anybody in those spots you don’t wanna pay another employee do you ? DO BETTER BJ’s! Not sure I want to pay another year of $110 just to be told I have to wait, because BJ’S doesn’t want to hire people and overwork the one...
