This restaurant is amazing! Everything is made to order and always fresh. My family and I have been multiple times for dinner and it is consistently good. Chef owned and operated this restaurant offers a variety of cuisines including specialities from Haiti, Jamaica, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. Very unique - there is clearly nothing else so diverse and interesting in the area. We have never been disappointed. And we have multiple food allergies such as gluten and dairy and have been accommodated with no issues. Amazing curried goat and chicken, homemade soups that are a meal in and of themselves. Plaintains, callaloo, cabbage, yucca, and an amazing mushroom rice are some of the delectable sides we have sampled. Recently we tried the grilled marinated conch- delicious and melt in your mouth. My husband had the Pollo Guisado a specialty chicken dish from the Dominican Republic and he said it was melt in your mouth. We have had goat Jamaican and Haitian style. They have a nice drink menu and also do breakfast. Do yourself a favor and stop in to this family run business- support these people - they are awesome! The food is killer, prices beyond reasonable and the portions ample. Stop in- you won’t be disappointed! Wish we could give them more...
Read moreCaribbean Breeze is a hidden gem that brings the vibrant flavors of the Caribbean straight to New Hampshire. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt transported—the atmosphere is colorful, relaxed, and filled with the warm energy you’d expect from an island-inspired restaurant.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and made sure we felt at home right away. They were happy to answer questions about the menu and offered great recommendations. I started with the jerk chicken, and it was absolutely phenomenal—perfectly seasoned, juicy, and with just the right amount of heat. The flavor was bold and authentic, with a smoky kick that kept me going back for more.
We also tried the curry goat and oxtail, both of which were cooked to tender perfection and packed with deep, rich flavor. The rice and peas, plantains, and cabbage sides were fresh, well-prepared, and complemented the main dishes beautifully.
To drink, I ordered a passionfruit juice that was refreshing and not overly sweet. For dessert, we had the rum cake—moist, flavorful, and a perfect finish to the meal.
Caribbean Breeze is a place where food is made with heart. If you’re craving something different, delicious, and full of soul, this spot is a must-visit. I can’t wait...
Read moreI was a long time fan of Norton's Classic Cafe on the corner of Main and West Hollis in Nashua. I especially loved their breakfast menu. But due to Covid, it's been a long time since I've had breakfast out. My heart sank when I stopped by only to find that it had been replaced by something called Caribbean Breeze. But don't let the name fool you. The new owners kept the same breakfast menu and they served up the old 54 Mercury hash and poached eggs in style. My only disappointment was the hash was not the real home made style I was hoping for. But I noticed a Corned Beef and Cabbage special on the blackboard so I'm hopeful that they are heading in that direction. Even more impressive, though was the warm and friendly manner of the people. I almost forgot to mention that I like my poached eggs soft but when I told the waitress she went back to the kitchen immediately. The eggs were perfect.
And even more than the breakfast I'm looking forward to their dinner menu. I can't wait to try their Caribbean Stew or their Broiled Red Snapper. I think it's about time that Nashua got a little more adventurous in its restaurant venues. I'll be back to tell you about it...
