Wow. This was not a good experience. I actually felt like i was going to cry, which sounds dramatic, but it was suppose to be a nice small anniversary dinner. We reserved a table for dinner for our visit. The table we got was right by the door, which was interesting considering there were open tables elsewhere. The table by the door was also by the games. Shortly after sitting down other patrons who clearly had a bit to drink (no fault of their own), came over to the small table directly next to us after moving from their initial table. We did have one of the waitstaff come over and get our order by asking if we had been helped. The other patrons who came over were very loud and were so close one bumped into my back. We did ask if we could move after this and were able to, which we were very thankful for. In regards to the food, the portions seemed average. We both got the salmon and found it to be very dry and the bottom was actually quite crispy, which had an unfavorable charred crunch to it. Maybe it was frozen prior? I didn't eat mine after the first bite. The cabbage slaw was flavorless beyond the vinegar and cabbage. The green beans were okay. The mashed potatoes tasted like Bob Evans microwave mashed potatoes. I didn't finish anything I got, and left a plate mostly full beyond sampling the items. The only time we were checked on was after we flagged down a staff member to ask for a check. We were asked if we needed boxes two times because my plate was basically full. I declined the boxes. I feel like I wasted money trying this place out. Needless to say we won't be back. Staff seemed upset and overwhelmed. Front host wasn’t seating the empty tables then finally did after 30 minutes and then folks who walked in with kids took high top tables without being called to play games and were waited on before folks who’d waited 30+ minutes for their tables. The bartender took our card to close out but never did leading to a ton of confusion with our final meal check. The food was pretty blah. I had the seafood pasta and it tasted like a canned white wine that was definitely not cooked with mussels because they have a totally different flavor and you can taste tomatoes or chicken flavors.. def not worth $26. Avoid the fish and chips unless you just like the taste of fried grease batter it was flavorless codd. Fries came out cold and fish barely warm. We ate one bite and they asked if we wanted a box and said it wasn’t good, and server just said sorry and walked off with no offer to fix it or get anything, so I guess customer service isn’t much of a priority. We asked for a slice of bread for the infant due to the wait and were charged $1 and it was awful and plain (even for adults) lol. It took us 30 minutes to get water then 30 min once we asked for a check to get said check. Tables sat after ours with bigger groups were served ate and closed out faster. Personally, just come here for drafts and avoid the liquor drinks because they are closer to shot sized vs mixed drink serving sizes. Multiple guest were laughing at the sides being mini sampler...

Neighborhood bar and grill with great choices on craft beers and has drink specials every weekday. My favorites are on Mondays 2-4-1 drafts and $2 off local draft Thursdays. Our go tos the hot, fresh french fries which are amazing. Some of the best french fries I have ever had. The rib eye steak tacos were fantastic in every aspect. Update April 2024 We went in for dinner and had a fantastic time! We ordered the fish and chips, grilled salmon entree and the avocado BLT. All were delectable. The cheese grits, mashed potatoes and the Gouda Mac and cheese are all excellent! The whole service team are helpful and friendly. Update July 2024 This place is still one of my favorite restaurants in Nashville. We tried their SBLT, salmon BLT. It was an open flame grilled salmon filet served in a BLT and it was delicious.
