UPDATE Taking them down to one star because they’re trying to get my review removed on the knot by disputing plain and simple facts. I stand by this review completely. Use someone else for your wedding cake needs.

The cake was delicious which is why I’m giving two stars. They lost three due to their lack of communication and all around poor experience we had with them. We ordered our tasting box and it began with them flat out ignoring our requests for the tasting. I mean completely! We were given the exact opposite of almost everything we requested or asked to not be included. This was apparently due to a technology issue….but you’d think if we’re shelling out this much money they’d reach out to confirm before putting together the box. When we contacted them it was impossible to get them to reply and we ended up having to do everything through our wedding planner/venue. I really had some ideas I wanted to explore for the cake but because they were unwilling to work with us much less talk to us it became a disappointing part of the planning process and we just went with a plain three tiered cake. Tiffany made my daughter’s first birthday cake, a smash cake, and cookies for us. I must admit, when I got the initial quote for everything, it was more expensive than I had expected (my first time actually throwing a birthday party, after all). But it was worth EVERY. PENNY. First of all, the actual cake was prettier than my wedding cake. It was stunning. And it tasted incredible. That was the comment we kept getting most from friends— that it actually tasted as good as it looked. We got the strawberry cake and unlike strawberry cakes I’ve had in the past that have that fake, overly sweet strawberry flavor without any actual strawberries, this one had chunks of strawberries throughout and was perfectly moist and not too sweet. She also decorated the outside of the cake with macaroons and they were incredible. And the sugar cookies she made as party favors were such a hit too. Tiffany was absolutely wonderful to work with and made the most delicious wedding cake for my daughter’s wedding. We met early on for a tasting and all the flavors were amazing from lemon, to chocolate, white with strawberry filling and white on white. She had many flavor options, but those are the ones we chose to taste. We have always been a big fan of a white on white wedding cake so that finally won out. We seriously had people coming up at the wedding telling us it was the best cake they have ever had! The frosting was smooth and creamy and just melted in your mouth. It was a buttercream that was made with the finest ingredients and you could really tell. The cake was not heavy at all and was super moist. So good in fact I enjoyed a few pieces at the wedding!

Tiffany was very professional throughout the planning process and designed the cake from the pictures we showed. Five stars for sure and I highly recommend Baked in Nashville. The cake was just...
