Had given a 5 star review when I last shoped there but that changed today. I went looking for cabinets and what cork I needed to finish the floor in my kitchen. We spent almost 1000 dollars 2 weeks ago and expecting to spend much more today until I had a run in with a person claiming to be the Mgr. We looked at the cabinets and decided on what we wanted we askes 2 diffeeent associates for help but they said they had to unload truck. I went looking for more of the same bamboo cork that I purchased all of 2 weeks ago and the associate said should be in in two weeks which is why i came in today Also I was going to purchase the remainder of the lisban that i used in my bedroom in caae of accidental damage in the future. As I was sorting thru the loose stock. i was putting the remaining expresso in one pile a gentleman walked up and asked if he could help us. My husband stated that we would like to know when the bambo cork would be available. Instead of answering the man stated that we needed to stop opening up his product. This is the same product that I spent over an hour sorting thru 2 weeks ago to get what I purchased then. I did not open his product it was already open I simply slid my nail in to be able to see the color of the tile since it was not visible from the outside. There is a big difference between opening and looking My husband asked him not to speak to me so rudely and to repeat his rude comments which he did even more rudely. I asked to speak to a manager and he told me that he was the manager and that we could promptly leave his property which we did. Leaving the order that we had already written up for the kitchen cabinets as well as other items we had picked up during this trip. I would not ever step foot in this building even if you paid me to....
Read moreI just had a really bad experience with the manager John Mcqueeney, who acted pretty disrespectful and with an strong attitude about an issue with a cabinet price that was priced"incorrectly" , there where a bunch of cabinets in a shelf with a price tag of $70,04 i managed to take one down and took it to the register where they told me a different price so i explain to the cashier that the item had a different price on it for what he said he was going to sent a guy to check and he did and corroborated that the tag was indeed not the right one for those cabinets it was actually for the ones in the very top so i said well i measured and it matches the description so he said "yeah, let me get you my manager" when the manager came he was already all defensive and yelling with out allowing for any reasoning he let me there talking to myself and removed the price tag, I asked for corporate and he told me to look for the information my self but the first guy that talked to me that was pretty nice guy provided me the information . This is my first time having such a bad experience in the store after many years shopping here I dont ask for free stuff or anything like that but if they priced something incorrectly or place the incorrect tag on something is not the customer's fault so I think they have to honor the price. He blames me for not being a cabinet installer because I did my measurements wrong. The tag said the cabinet was 30x12 and the cabinet i got was 30x12 but he said that's not the correct way to measure it and that any professional would know that's not the way to measure it. (I measure wide and depth) which was 30x12 i attached a picture i took before he...
Read moreThis place is a hidden gem, although it's probably not considered very hidden at this point, since everyone on the southeast side of Nashville knows about it. This is my go-to premade unfinished cabinets. (For some reason I thought they also sold drawer fronts and cabinet doors that you could purchase separately, but I could be wrong since I just took a recent trip there and I didn't see them.) Also I'm really loving the unfinished doors with some of the door molding already attached. Only drawback is in my opinion some of the items have been damaged whether through shipping or some other means. They do price the items down if they've been damaged, but they're not always priced that way up front unless you ask. A lot of the items I've considered purchasing had been damaged so it kind of made me not want to buy them at that point because I would rather pay full price for something undamaged. So I usually wait until they get that same item that in pristine condition. I believe that they should do more to show pricing on some items. On the larger items closer to the door you can see the price listed clearly but on some of the cabinets or doors in the back maybe the pricing has been removed or fallen off over tme. I couldn't find some of the listed pricing So I wound up asking and they did provide it to me at that time. Pricing is always fair in my opinion. All in all I would always get this place five stars just because they have always worked with me and for some reason I keep...
