We ordered curbside to go from this location and arrived 2 minutes late for pickup, texted our arrival, and waited. After waiting for 10 minutes outside, I went in to see if my food was ready. The lady at the desk was on the phone talking to a customer from earlier that evening who seemed to have left something behind. The lady said "I haven't hung up on anyone tonight and I've been here answering the phones", then paused for a moment, before putting the customer on hold. She then went around the corner to talk to her friend and I overheard her complaining about how rude they were and getting an attitude. While I'm standing here through this whole ordeal, she has yet to even look at or acknowledge my presence, as I was standing right in front of her. When she comes back out, she speaks to me, I tell her my order, she looks it up and says "let me go get everything bagged up. (Its now been 20 minutes past the time requested for pickup) Moments later she comes back out to inform me that the ice cream for my cake ran out earlier this evening, she's sorry, she meant to call. I tell her I will just take the cakes then. She comes out with the bag roughly 5 minutes later, thanks me, and I go to my car. I proceed to check through the bag to make sure I have everything, and notice my egg rolls are missing. I walk back in and tell her, and she says they ran out of those tonight too, she's sorry, she meant to call. They tell me they can refund me, and she gets a manager to handle it. They come back together and proceed to process the refund, and after struggling for a few minutes, go to ask the GM for help. They come back and inform me that because it is an online order they can't refund me, and offer me a gift card for the difference. I agree, and she attempts to start this process at the bar, notices she doesn't have any gift cards, and will have to go into the back. She puts down her keys and goes back for a few minutes, comes back out for her keys, disappears for a few more minutes, and hands me my cards. After all was done, I inform her how unprofessionally this was handled, and I was completely understanding of the items being out of stock, but the lady in charge of to go orders had no intention of telling me I wasn't getting part of my order. I would have gone home paying for something I never received because this lady wants to go home (and has been staying so for the restaurant to here my entire time here) and catches an attitude with every obstacle rather than doing her job. I get things happen, restaurants get busy, things run out. I've worked in restaurants before. But this entire experience made us never want to return.
To end the wonderful experience, something in the order gave my family food poisoning and we are all home sick the day today. Oh and btw, it's my birthday. Happy...
Read moreDoesn't deserve even one star but I feel like 5th time of horrible service needs to be addressed and people warned. We have tried the curbside to go 8 times since it has opened, to give it a fair chance. I have disabled person with me so we always get it to go, of these times we get there when the order , as told to us online, is to be ready. Each time we waited 20 minutes or more before even being acknowledged. Tonight was the last straw and I am now just going to watch and see what new restaurant takes it place within a yr or so.
We ordered our food at around 4 pm we were told to pick up at 446, we got there 450 and waited and watched as the car next to me got their food and then 2 other cars pull up, they are workers i a can only assume as they run inside and then back out and leave. I see workers going in to work and make sure to say loudly i'm still waiting on food to which nothing is acknowledged and when i try to ask someone walking by they just look away. At this point I am livid, i start to call the inside and someone runs out (not in a uniform) asks me what my name is, i tell her she runs in and tells me there are NO online orders, i show her my text from the restaurant and say yeah ,try again, she goes back in and says manager doesn't have any orders soo...i gave her my FIRST name now and she hesitantly goes back inside, what happens next...you guess...ill wait....
TADA magically there IS an order! She shoves it in my face into my car and literally runs back inside, no words just food in my face.
This is the second time this almost exact thing has happened. The only difference is my child got violently ill from the shrimp that was cold and the "cheese" was dried to the shrimp it looked off but smelled ok and then the vomit began. I called up there before all this asking for a refund as they have given me coupons before but i never used them because we don't eat inside and that's only way to use them. Her response on the phone was...oh its dinner time so unfortunately i cant help you and said she would have someone call. Its 1030 now and SURPRISE no call.
I worked in fast food/restaurant when i was younger and 100% its not that damn hard. I will never return to this chilis like i stated above ill wait for whatever restaurant comes to replace it hopefully sooner than later but its inevitable it will get replaced. I have yet to hear one good review other than people who work there family members.
I want my money back but it seems like that rocket science it way too difficult. I guess 8 times is my fault for giving chances. Just know the food, price etc are not worth it here, if you love chilis definitely head out to coolsprings or basically ANY other one.
Avoid this one. I mean its a chain restaurant but get it...
Read moreHit or miss... We ate here two weeks ago after not being able to get into Cafe Coco (hour's wait), and the experience was a positive one.
The only snag was having to wait a few minutes to be seated-there was no greeter, and we were seated by a fellow who ended up being our server, Josh.
He was very friendly, attentive and helpful, and unfortunately, he seemed to be very overworked as did just about everyone else in the restaurant.
Hot, fresh chips arrived immediately, and once our dinner was delivered, Josh popped in to check on us frequently to make sure all was well.
The food was excellent-I had the smokehouse sampler, and it was fantastic-I was impressed by the experience, and couldn't wait to come back the following Saturday.
....fast forward to 30th April....
We returned to be greeted by a half-hour's wait-luckily, this time, there was a greeter and more servers, so we waited the appropriate amount of time and were seated, unfortunately not in Josh's section.
Our new server, Jay, seemed to be friendly and talkative, but he hardly checked on us during our dinner-no chips and salsa were delivered so I asked about them, and he said "they are available on request or if you're a rewards member." The other tables in our section received chips and salsa no questions asked, and one table who was seated after us was served before us. Not happy.
The food arrived quickly, and everyone at the table said it wasn't nearly as good as last time. I had the ancho salmon, and although the salmon was tasty, the broccoli had no seasoning, no butter, no salt, and the rice was terrible-crunchy, dry, lukewarm and inedible.
I was going to ask for some butter or something for my veggies, but our server bypassed our table several times to attend to other patrons. I can't help but think there was some discrimination at play here.
Luckily, Josh happened to be working the section next to ours, so we snagged him for help-good thing, because he recognised us from the first visit and did all he could to rectify the situation. He refilled our drinks, brought our dessert, and was overall a ray of sunshine.
So, it's hit or miss. Hopefully you'll go on a day when the "good cooks" are working, and you get a good server.
TL;DR Ask for Josh, and hope you're there on a day with the...
