UPDATE: After an offer by the owner to return to try it again including a giftcard (which ammounted to roughly half of the original bill), I chose to give it another try. First off I'll start with the good. The waitress was outstanding always there when you needed her very fast with refils and service. She was also knowledgable of the menu and did amazing! That's the only reason i bump it up . Brooke was amazing and a model waitress! The ok about this place the pad thai was decent. The appetizer we started with same as last time but it wasn't as hot or crisp. Now the bad! The orange chicken a "favorite" is a choking hazard! Tough and chewy and the sauce is meh .. this isn't an exaggeration we were scared to swallow the chicken in fear we didn't fully chew it. And the sashimi when brought out it wasn't chilled or anything almost warm and someone butchered the cuts. It was very disrespectful to the animal. Food is an art especially sushi and sashimi. I'm glad that they did fix it to where it didn't sit and stick to the ice like some have said. The review is mostly the same because the food still wasn't up to par, but here's a shoutout to Brooke! Thanks for making our service enjoyable and being amazing at what you do! ->ORIGINAL:There was a hair in our water. A black curly hair. That's a good way to start the meal! We had an unattentive waitress who pays attention to everyone else but our table. Im out of drink and was wanting to order something extra but was walked passed several times without even getting a "hows your meal?" the food was average and the service was poor. The rangoon was the only thing i somewhat enjoyed but The orange chicken was bland and not that good and the curry was nothing to brag about. Im not bringing anyone back here! They contacted me and offered me giftcard by mail but as of today i still haven't seen it or heard from them. Guess that's a sign i should stay clear of them!

Eastern Peak is a gem hiding in Belvue that specializes in Asian Fusion cuisine. Attentive staff made sure our entire experience was perfect so I will start off thanking them you guys are awesome. 😊 My first time in Eastern Peak I ordered the Red Curry with chicken which was very good it's made with coconut milk so it was a bit sweet to offset the spice. Me and my mother shared a entree of Gyoza which was pan fried lightly and steamed and paired with a homemade sauce which honestly made the dish. The second time in Eastern Peak I had the Katsu Don with Miso Soup as my entree. The miso soup gave me chills it was so cold outside and the broth with the fresh vegetables warmed me up perfectly. The Katsu Don paired well with the house sake, for desert I had the elderflower cocktail which wasn't my favorite as it tasted as if a elder lady sprayed her overpowered perfume in your soju. However, my mom loved it so I suppose it varies from person to person. The Eastern Peak has a medium price tag but exceeds 5 star expectations. The staff really make you feel welcome and invite you to expand your taste buds with their service and delicious cuisine. šŸœā™„ļø

Sitting with my wife and 4 kids and ordering a sushi without shellfish as 2 of my kids are allergic to it. I get my order and thank G-D I try it first because it came with crab and shrimp. I told the waitress to tell her manager that this was not acceptable and when the manager came she said ā€œI managed to remove these 2 rolls from your billā€. Seriously?!?!? If one of them would have gone in an ambulance that seems to them like this is a good resolution? What about an apology? What about making sure and saying that will make sure this never happens to anyone else?!?! I asked to call the owner ASAP because this just ridiculous!! The waitress should have verifying with the kitchen they got the changes, the kitchen should have looked at the comments, and the waitress should have looked at the order before serving it to us. And the manager who looks like has no clue about managing problems, should take some customer service classes!

I went into the Eastern Peak in one Bellevue place around 12:30 for lunch on 7/17. I have been to this restaurant multiple times and have always had a great experience. I even have a regular server that I go to and see. However this visit was not like the others. There were only 3 of us at the table and the server kept forgetting who had what drinks and delivered the food to the wrong people. The pad thai did not come with a side of rice or a lime. I ordered the stir fry and once it came out I asked my server if the stir fry was suppose to come with noodles and she promptly said no it does not I'm sorry and walked away. I had to grab another server to ask them if they could go ahead and put in an order of noodles for me. Once we were ready to pay out we were told by the server that the system was down and she was going to have to go to the store real quick. I only have an hour for lunch and it was about 1:15 when we were told this. I understand completely that the computer was down, however we were told that we needed to walk to the movie theater down the street and go get money out of the ATM as they could only take cash at the moment. So my friends and I walked to the movies where we were told there was no ATM. We went back to eastern peak and they assured us there was an ATM in sprouts. We then proceeded to walk down to sprouts only to find out again that there was no ATM. I was suppose to be back at work at 1:30 and it was now 1:25. We walked back to eastern peak and I expressed my frustration to the manager only to be told that the system was back up and they could take my card now. They had to call the server up to put in our food again and asked us what we ordered. At this point I was late for work. THEN the hostess told me that next time I needed an ATM I should drive myself to publix because they do have one in there........ REALLY? We then had to play full price for the entire meal. We were not offered any compensation for our time or the inconvenience. I am actually a manager at another restaurant and I know if something like this happened at my restaurant, I would have gladly offered some compensation. I do not think I will...

For the love of God please set a delay on your doordash delivery timer. I’m tired of being lied to. I’ve been told that it will be 5 minutes or ā€˜it’s getting bagged right now’. This usually tends to be code for we haven’t started the order but it’s going to take at least 30 minutes. On several occasions I have had to wait well over 40 minutes and a few times over an hour. I keep trying to hold on hope that it will be just a few more minutes but that’s rarely the case. I ask that you please set a pick up delay timer on orders when you’re busy and just be transparent with drivers and customers that it may take 30+ minutes. I’d rather be told the truth and go along with doing other orders than be lied to and lose money and wait an hour. I’m frustrated at a communication and scheduled my issue. I have picked up over 100 orders from this location. Kindly consider my recommendation from the point of view of a customer and delivery driver. Thank you

Update 12/5/22 I’ve noticed some improvements over the now few times I have been back here to pick up orders. That being said today I waited about 20 minutes for an order. I wouldn’t have cared too much had it not been for the miscommunication and failure to check for orders by the front. For 20 minutes orders piled up in the back and then all of a sudden just a few minutes before I was planning on unassigning my order they come up with about 15 orders all at the same time. I would understand if you were severely short staffed however I could notice workers casually talking with each other including those at the front. I know that the kitchen didn’t have 15 orders ready exactly at the same time. It just seems unorganized and inefficient. Why make delivery drivers wait an extra 15 minutes while the order is just sitting on the back table in the kitchen. Communication and honest clarity is important. They also said the whole ā€˜it will only take another 5 minutes’ thing. Which I stated earlier is a lie and I find it dishonest and offensive to just say that...
