First before I drag this place for the filth that it is š I would like to say that it was a time when they had great people working here who were great at customer service. But I assume those good workers were ran off because they were left to handle the high volume of the store by themselves. The lines are usually wrapped around the store, & they canāt keep workers for too long. So now I assume out of pure desperation to keep up with the volume they are hiring anyone, hence why Iām making my first food review online of my whole entire life. Want a random ghetto story at Dunkin donuts in full detail, here it goesā¦
Pulled up to the drive-thru with a long line that wrapped around the store, I was so close to driving off but my daughter really wanted a strawberry dragonfruit refresher, & I wanted my caramel iced coffee (remember this order) so I patiently waited. My turn to order I ordered what I went there for, but they told me they were out of coconut milk, so I asked could they make the refresher with almond milk, she said yes, okay cool so I pulled around to pay. She had only rung up the strawberry refresher, I said I also ordered a caramel iced coffee. Now I understand sometimes ppl donāt hear things which is not the end of the world, but what youāre not gonna do is tell me I didnāt say what I said. Instead of just ringing it up & apologizing for the mistake, she tells me I didnāt even say it š Then she hands me the āstrawberryā refresher that was white with a light purple tint. On god I specifically said āhey excuse me Iām not trying to be difficult but is this drink strawberryā? This girl told me āyes thatās why itās purpleā and you are trying to be difficult because you never ordered this iced coffee. At this point my integrity & intelligence is being challenged by this cashier, cause since when has strawberries been purple š also I put it on my soul I ordered that iced coffee, so why is she so mad, probably the stress of even working at this place is taking a toll on her, OR sheās just a unaccountable horrible person on & off the job. So when I replied to her accusations by saying āso you telling me Iām wrong & didnāt say what I saidā she got so mad & said get your iced coffee yourself, and stormed off mumbling out her mouth. As I sat there in disbelief Iām thinking first of all I canāt even reach the drink out of the window, second I gave her $20.61 because the order came to $8.61, and she didnāt even give me my change?! At this point she trying to bring the ghetto back out of me cause now I wanna go in the store & see wassup on some gangsta shh ššš¤¦š½āāļø Whewww let us pray⦠So another worker came to the window to give me my change because she couldnāt deal with a customer āso difficultā smh. I straight up told them āyāall are ghetto hereā and āit be your own pplā so she came back to the window, closed the window in my face while they both laughed & she pointing at me giggling. At this point I had to laugh as well that this is even happening šš Then when I tried to tell them my change isnāt right, she started yelling & clapping šš¾ her hands like āwhy you still here, you got your drinksā Iām thinking so she told me to get my own drink after saying I didnāt even order it then didnāt give me my money, but then proceeds to yell at me like Iām wrong for wanting my correct change. I said šš¾ āOoh Iām scared now because youāre clapping a bunch of times while yelling ā š If you donāt like your job, get another one. I felt like that interaction got real street real quick fr lol when did this store get like this in this suburban area. I felt like she really wanted to fight because she, them, were all wrong š I felt like if I asked to speak to a manager she probably would of been the manager at this point because they need help so bad & ppl quit so much. If America runs on Dunkin then Iām running...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI go to this place a few times a month for DONUTS ONLY, so I can't comment on the quality of their coffee/drinks, their specialty food/sandwiches/etc., or the speed with which they make those things. I've always gone either early in the morning, around 5-6am righy after they open, in the mid-afternoon around 2-4pm, or in the evening between 9-10pm in the hour before they close. During these time periods, it is usually isn't a problem finding parking right in front of the store, but spaces are very limited and it's right next to the Shell station, so during busier times, like during the morning and evening commutes, it's def difficult to find a spot. I always just go in to the store bc you can see exactly what they have in stock and the drive thru takes forever, whereas service in the store has always been very quick for me (i.e. in & out in less than 10min every time and usually less than 5min!) The variety and quality are always the best in the morning. As someone else also noted, variety & availability of the most popular donuts goes way down after around 3pm, but what they do have left at that time is still pretty fresh. In the evenings, it's extremely picked over, with only a few choices left and while they don't taste like they were just made, they def aren't stale by any means. If you just want a box of donut holes or some simple glazed or chocolate frosted donuts though, they always seem to have these all the way up to when they close. If you order less than 6 donuts, they will put them in a paper bag instead of a box bc they only have boxes for 6 or 12 donut orders, and certain amts of donut holes. While the bag isnt an issue if you're getting just a couple donuts, they can get a bit squished and/or lose icing &sprinkles to the inside of the bag or other donuts if you're getting 3-5 of them. If you want at least 4, I'd personally recommend just ordering a box of 6 for this reason. Customer service inside the store has always been very good for me. Staff are usually very friendly and the ones who aren't are still polite/not rude at the very least, and service has always been...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually go to a dunkies 3x a week or so. Normally I get coffee which is fine. However about once a week I get a chicken salad on a bagel. I know that sounds odd for breakfast, but I dig it. Now first let me say I have worked in the food industry for 8 years. I always have a pleasant demeanor with customer service people because I know how dealing with people can be. With that said, this is by far the WORST customer service I have ever received in my life. I ordered a coffee and chicken salad sandwich. I got to my work opened it and it was tuna. I was super bummed because I hate tuna. I didn't eat it and called. The manager told me to just come by the next morning and pick up another one. So, no worries right?! NOPE. I went in the next morning and the "assistant manager" was working. I told her what happened and she told me there was nothing she could do. Really? Then she proceeded to tell me I was mistaken, that that never happened. So I get upset, not over the sandwich but that fact she basically called me a liar. So I asked her if I brought in the tuna sandwich would she then get me a new one. She said yes. So I did. A 3 DAY OLD TUNA sandwich I brought into that store. But guess what, she wasn't working. When I asked the girl at the counter she just offered to make me the correct sandwich. She was a sweetheart, but guess what?! The "assistant manager" should of just done that the day prior.
I was so livid at how this issue was handled that I didn't go back for months. But unfortunately I have a dang dunkies addiction and I just went back this morning. My sandwich wasn't heated or toasted and my coffee was absolutely horrible ( which was a first, I normally LOVE their coffee) there was WAY too much flavor in it this time. I get the same thing every time so I know what it is supposed to taste like.
So basically to wrap this up, STAY AWAY from this Dunkin Donuts. Horrible service and poorly prepared...
