In Nashville for work and have been craving for some Pho this night. I also wanted to watch some of the NCAA tournament and called ahead to make sure they had a TV to view which they had. I have to say that this place was our 2nd choice only because the first location we chose for Pho did not have TV on even though they had 2 TV's , anyhow that lead to choosing Hai's Sushi & Pho. To be honest, I was skeptical because it was located in a strip mall. As it was our first time visiting they have 3 doors and took us a bit to figure out the entry is by the sushi bar. They have seating at the Sushi bar( which is great because you can watch them create the sushi you order), a few tables by the Sushi bar and another room with tables set up. Started off with freshly breaded calamari, which I thought was really good, but you have to like the tentacle portions so if you are more accustomed to the bread rings don't expect that. Ordered some sashimi with a variety of cuts of fish which melted in your mouth. The cuts were very fresh and tender. We also ordered a plate of nigiri , that was so good that I ordered another plate. Then I ordered a bowl of Pho, which was the reason I was out. So far this has to be the best Pho I had in Nashville, I can't say it's the best in general because "Mom" makes the best at home 😁. It was so delicious, you know it's good when all you need to add is heat, the spicy level of how hot you want the Pho, the broth they make was on point. We sat by a few regulars through out the night. We were out on a Friday night so they were open til 10pm, which was a plus. The staff was very nice and friendly. There were people coming in 10mins to 10 and they kept serving Sushi even after they put everything in the Sushi bar away. Now that is the kind of service I like to see, but maybe because they were regulars? Either way they didn't turn down service or rushed anyone to leave. I thought personally that the food was worth the price point. You can spend $6-$16 on Sushi, it all depends what you are getting and how many pcs. You can get their specials up on the chalkboard or order off the menu. Pho was around $9(more if you add your choice of protein about $5 more). I thought their price points were reasonable. Im not sure if people think it should be cheaper than that on Sushi. I definitely recommend this place to try! I'll be returning again if I have a chance...

I visited this location on June 21st. This was my first time and will be my last most likely. I will say, everyone has bad days and maybe that was the situation here. I'm not sure, as nothing was communicated to me. I placed an order over the phone for three items. Crispy tofu, fried rice, mango sticky rice. I was told it would be 45 minutes. I waited about fifteen and was already at the restaurant and thought I would wait inside. When I went in my order was ready and sitting at the counter. There were four employees standing behind the cash register staring at the computer screen, clearly frustrated and trying to figure something out with the computer. They said nothing to me. I asked about my order they picked it up and brought it to the cash register and again stood there for over 16 minutes staring at their computer screen and still trying to figure something out, not saying anything to me to let me know there was a problem or issue. No one spoke to me. I spoke up and asked if I could pay and also wanted to add a boba tea. They made my tea and charged me. Then for another 4 minutes stood there looking at the computer screen and opening my food containers two or three times to confirm what was in them. It was very frustrating. They did not speak to me or explain what the problem was or even offer an apology for the delay. I knew that my crispy tofu was now going to be soggy. Finally they handed me my food and I went to my car and went to drink the Boba Tea, I was extremely disappointed to find the Boba in the tea, was very hard and dried out. Overall bad experience. I hope it was just a bad day for them and that things get better. As a vegetarian I was happy to find a place that had options but the whole experience was very frustrating and...

If I could give the place a 0 I would’ve. The customer service was absolutely HORRIBLE from the owner himself. We ordered two bowls of pho and the tilapia chips. My girlfriend and I were unhappy with the chips after trying them and politely asked our server if it could be sent back. She informed us she would have to speak to the owner. After getting the owner we let him know the same thing we told our server. He then went on a whole rant of how we just didn’t like fish for real and we shouldn’t have order it to begin with and that we needed to essentially suck it up. He also raised his voice at the both of us in an attempt to embarrass us inside the restaurant. Afterwards we were uncomfortable and didn’t want anything and informed our server of this and she got the owner again to which he tried to argue with us AGAIN. I would never recommend this to someone nor would I go back ! Super...

If you are looking for a casual and yummy Asian dinner, Hai’s is a great place to go. They have a huge menu so you’ll have lots of options to choose from. A great place to go if you’re a person who likes to try a lot of different kinds of things. I got the Shrimp Teriyaki dinner and I was very impressed by the amount of shrimp that I was given. The sushi roll I got was also very yummy. The sushi comes with a small cucumber salad and the teriyaki dinner comes with your choice of a soup or salad. The restaurant is a part of a complex with a lot of other things so there’s a huge parking lot right out front which makes parking really easy. A huge benefit in Nashville

I visited Nashville for Thanksgiving and I was craving Ramen so my sister took me here. She was raving about this basil fried rice or something. We were all disappointed. Her rice was the only good thing on our table. We all ate but I think we were expecting more flavor. My egg wasn't the typical soaked ramen egg. It was okay. I didn't finish my soup. I mostly just ate the chicken tempura. I wanted a sushi roll but I don't eat seafood. I wish they had vegetarian options. They only had avocado but it didn't come with anything. They could do an avocado cream cheese and cucumber at least. Idk it wasn't that great.
