Story time! So aside from the few other times I've been to this Krispy Kreme and waited an enormous amount of time for them to "make fresh donuts" and then walked away with dry donuts that look and taste 2 or 3 days old - the LAST time I bought from there (today), I had them delivered. Here's what happened.
I ordered online, so there was an easy-to-see list of exactly which donuts I wanted in my assorted dozen on my account and on my receipt. My doordash person dropped them off, and they were all wrong (no hate on the doordash person, she was an angel).
I call Krispy Kreme Thompson Lane, a guy answers, I politely explain that my order came in wrong, everything's quiet for several long seconds, and then he heavy sighs and says, "And what would you have ME do?" Confused, I said "I guess deliver a new box with the right donuts?" He heavy sighed again and said I'd need to come into the store and work it out with the manager. I, in my night clothes - hence the reason I had them delivered - asked if I could just get a refund instead. He scoffed and HUNG UP on me.
I thought maybe it was a connection issue, so I called again, he answered, I said "Hey, sorry, I think we got disconnected..." and he instantly hung up again. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I call one last time, he picks up, says nothing, and hangs up a second later.
At this point I'm at a loss and my little brother is expressly disappointed that we don't have the breakfast I promised him. I call their customer service line, which says to leave a message but then just drops off after their recording ends.
As a last resort, I call my door dasher, who answers and I explain the situation and ask who she thinks I could contact. She apologizes to me, asks me to message her my correct order, goes all the way back to Krispy Kreme, has them make the correct order, and brings it to me free of charge. Needless to say she got a good tip.

Read moreI'm a little disappointed by the past couple of visits and I hope they can remedy it, here's what happened on my last one.
I was stuck waiting for Walgreens to process an order and I decided since I probably had 30 minutes to kill to come to Krispy Kreme. The place was empty save for one person at a table and one person trying to pay with a non-existent coupon.
So since this person didn't have the coupon, the one attendant had to go and locate her manager. This took two minutes to go back and relay that there was someone with a coupon that did not exist. The attendant came back and relayed that without the non-existent coupon there was going to be no discount.
Upon hearing that the person said ok, and then attempted to use a non profit tax ID on two boxes of doughnuts. This required the attendant to go back again.
Minutes go by and the attendant and the manager come out. I look at my countdown to pharmacy timer and it's been about 10 minutes at this point for the other customer's 24 plain doughnuts which are now about a dollar less expensive.
There's a small line behind me at this point of about four people, standing around wondering why with all the people working there one wasn't repositioned onto the counter.
I get my doughnuts, an apology, I didn't ask for one as a note, they go on down the line while I'm there apologizing to everyone.
Previous time I was there was similar, but involved an actual coupon that the person didn't know...
Read moreOrdered a dozen assorted donuts, a large caramel iced latte extra caramel and a large caramel latte extra caramel. I get to the window to pay and I sit and wait 10 minutes to get my donuts (thank goodness they were correct). I'm now waiting on 2 lattes, shouldn't take long, right?! WRONG!! 10 minutes later I get my large caramel iced latte. Straw in, WOW!!!! Horrible, nasty, pure gross, not to mention the large looks like a small! I gave it back and asked for the other large caramel latte and she told me to pull around to the front. I do. I sat there waiting for 10 minutes then decided to park and go in because I was getting angry. The girl met me at the door with the iced latte, and said they were still making the other latte (20+ minutes later) I took a drink of my latte and almost spit it out!!! It was worse than the first one and there was no sign that my other latte was being made... I asked for a manager, I was about to explode I was so angry!! He looked lost when he was talking to me, he struggled working the computer because I had asked for a refund only for the lattes because they weren't going to be good and I had already been there 30+ minutes!! He came back after about 7 minutes fumbling on the computer and gave me a full refund!! I appreciated it very much, but I will absolutely NEVER go back to Krispy Kreme!!!
