The employee taking my order couldn't figure out how to minus the lettuce off the McChickens in our order. I figured the system was just confusing. She had a co-worker assist and after several minutes she finally got the order in. Post order they typically give you your sodas. I had to ask. She looked at me as if she shouldn't give us the sodas yet. We we're standing waiting for our food and apparently it was there waiting in a big bag. We asked to eat in. The same lady that took our order told us it has been there for a long time but no one came to get it. We we're right there the whole time. I knew my number but for some reason I didn't recall hearing my number. She acted as if they were giving up on us.
We sat down with our food and started to be overwhelmed by flies. One of the kids refused to sit down and stood up in by the food counter to eat his McChicken.
I decided to order an apple pie and of course got the same lady. Apparently they do t do the 2 apple pie deal for a dollar so I told her just do one. She couldn't figure out how to void one item. She ended up adding 5 pies to the order. She had a couple worker help, the co worker couldn't figure it out so then they had to get a manager. At this point I felt like I was standing there for 5 minutes to get an apple pie. The manager finally got it. The original cashier took my money and pushed the receipt on to me with a force as if she didn't like me. I wasn't being rude. I was trying to be understanding. I didn't say anything and accepted the apple pie.
First thing I noticed was there was no time stamp on this apple pie. My local McDonald's typically will put a time stamp on these things to show how fresh they are. I decided to try it and after the first bite I was sorry. I possibly bit into something 3 plus days old. It was hard and crunchy like a stale cookie. I tried another bit in the center to be certain and sure enough I spit it out into the trash can and threw the remaining pie in the trash.
I didn't ask for a refund because 1. I could tell how irritated the cashier was with me and 2. The cashier took up too much of my time taking my order. I wasn't going to fight for my dollar pie.
I was traveling through and hopefully next time I'm in the area I will skip past this McDonald's. This by far was the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. I don't consider myself a picky person and don't like giving a review like this but feel I...
Read moreFrom Missouri passing through. I've seen some bad McDonald's in my life...and this one really sets the bar. The cashier was clearly on drugs and could not manage to enter in a McChicken order.. it took her several tries. The apple pie looked and tasted like it was cooked yesterday. We just threw it away. That same cashier I sat and watch mock several customers after their orders had been placed. It's not uncommon for parents to decline toys in Happy meals. And if someone orders 5 sodas just give them their 5 cups without the attitude... The whole floor was wet and sticky from soda. I've never seen so many flies in one establishment in my life. Crawling all over everything behind the counter. Even the credit card machine was coated in some type of fuzzy film. I wish I was making this stuff up. But even the other travelers in there were disgusted. (Another Missouri and a Texas) Oh and they put our food in a bag and put it on the counter. They didn't holler a number or anything. I finally stood up and walked over to the counter where the same cashier opens the bag and says IS ANYONE GOING TO GET THEIR FOOD WEVE CALLED FOR YOU SEVERAL TIMES AND YOU WONT GET YOUR FOOD. well I guess none of the 6 of my family heard her whisper? Also wasn't expecting a to go bag for our DINE IN ORDER. I'm heavily considering calling corporate or the local health department.
