I was truly delighted to try the tacos here. The tortillas were very fresh, soft, and griddled perfectly, the meats and fillings delicious. I had 2 beef tongue tacos (lengua), 2 al pastor (seasoned pork) and 1 asado (grilled beef taco). I really enjoyed the fillings as they were all tender, well seasoned, and freshly made. Two types of salsa and some fresh squeezed lime and you’re good to go. The flavors really stood out as very clean and flavorful, being able to taste the pure essence of the meats. The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice and the service was good, the woman at the counter very friendly. This is not a sit down “hi my name is …. I’ll be taking care of you today” kind of place, the service is simple, you order at the counter, they give you a number and then bring out the food. After this you dispose of your plate in the designated area. It should be mentioned that the street corner and lots where the restaurant is located were a bit concerning as there seemed to be a meeting point for some rather unsavory activities. This, however, should not prevent you from trying the food here, they also have a drive through in case this suits you best. I hope they do well because those tacos are legit and I’m sure the other dishes are...
Read moreOrdered a chorizo breakfast burrito via the drive-thru. The communication was difficult, maybe due to a language barrier. I was asked to pull to the window and eventually made my order successfully...chorizo breakfast burrito, no potatoes...I almost thought I was in the wrong place. The burrito was hot and delicious once I was able to eat it fifteen minutes later. They've great flour tortillas, fresh, soft, and the right texture. It was heavy on the chorizo in a good way, still plenty of eggs and cheese. I did ask for no potatoes and was told they use hasbrowns, fyi. The red salsa was so good and tasted fresh. Next time, I'll ask for more. It's a little spicy and salty. The green salsa is good, too. I just preferred the red. The surrounding neighborhood is rough, but that won't stop me. I look forward to trying other items...
Read moreThis was the worst place first they put mushrooms in their fajitas. Then when I told them I was allergic they made me purchase another meal without exchanging the food out. I hadn’t even eating the first plate before I discovered that it had mushrooms in it. And we tipped I ordered fajitas she left my tortillas out and when I asked about them she had an attitude cause she had to give me some. Then she gave me flour tortillas instead of the hand made tortillas. We just left after that. Hands down worst service I have had from a Mexican restaurant. Will not recommend anyone eating here. If I could give less than zero stars i would. They really need to fix the attitude of...
