This place is a hidden gem. I’ve driven by it for over a year and always thought I should try it, but found it hard to plan a night since there’s limited hours. However, I finally made a reservation and my gf and I were both pleasantly surprised and the food exceeded our expectations. The food all tasted fresh, and was ordered hot, which is what I like. Many restaurants nowadays you are served lukewarm food that’s been sitting and cooling or under heat lamps but this food was warm, fresh, and tasted great. The mushroom pasta was incredibly tasty and creamy with some bite to it. It was easily some of the best pasta I’ve had, and easily beats many restaurants that have a sole focus on pasta. The whipped feta with honey and pistachios was by far my favorite appetizer I’ve had in a while. The pistachio chicken also had an incredible and unique flavor that I’ve never experienced. The potatoes were clearly made in the kitchen and tasted creamy, buttery, and fluffy. The Brussel sprouts were great but my only critique is they were pretty excessively oily and you could see the pooled oil on your plate as well as taste the oil. Overall, the food was great, exceeded our expectations, and the service was wonderful as well. Prices were reasonable and were comparable to just about anywhere else you would eat for a less casual restaurant in nashville. I think we may have found a new spot. Looking forward to coming back and making this a...
Read moreMy wife and I arrived at 5:30 Friday and were seated immediately. We chose the enclosed patio area close to the wood-burning fireplace for it's warm ambiance. Joy ordered a "dirty martini" and I had a whiskey, neat. Joy's martini was very good and my whiskey pour was generous. The house vodka is Country Club which is quite poor so she opted for Tito's instead. The house whiskey ? is also low quality so I chose Woodford Reserve instead. Because we didn't choose the house liquors we were ineligible for the Happy Hour discount. Our waitress brought crusty bread and poured an herbed olive oil for dipping. Delicious. Joy ordered the Kobe Truffle Burger with fries and I chose the Shrimp and Sausage Linguini. Both entrees were delicious. We have eaten here eight times and have been well- satisfied each time. The menu is quite varied with an interesting mix of choices. We like the roasted Brussels Sprouts and they make a Meatball Mac 'n' Cheese which is scrumptious. I know, it sounds odd but it is very tasty!
