Taqueria El Alteño — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

So my wife and I went here last night hoping to get some good tacos. We ordered 4 grilled chicken tacos and rice on the side. The waitresses were rude and claimed to not understand anything we said regarding our order. It’s one thing to not speak English, but in a English speaking city on a busy main rd, I’d think you’d at least be able to take my order and at the very minimum, be pleasant about it. If you only want Mexicans to patronize your establishment, you should have a Mexicans only sign in front. As an American, I didn’t appreciate the rudeness or the lack of concern with our order. This was the first time going to this place. I ordered the 1/2 Pollo plate. When I got home and open the plate I could see it was old. Took the plate back, told a lady who was outside standing, she told me to tell other girl at cash register. So I go tell her the chicken was old and dry, she asked if I would like something else, I said yes the same thing if it was fresh! She went to tell cook, as I watched the cook take the chicken out the fridge, then throw it in microwave, I said never mind if it was fresh it would be off the grill. So she refunded me! Awesome authentic Mexican cuisine! There aren't a ton of parking spaces, and trust me it doesn't look like much on the outside, but the inside is nice and the food is spectacular! There aren't really alot of Vegan/Vegetarian options on the menu unlike alot of Mexican restaurants, however I had them make me a bean and rice burrito that was loaded with veggies that was as big as a small football, and it was awesome!
