Easy Pawn — Local services in Nashville-Davidson

Not happy at all about my experience here. I called ahead to check availability on a Exoterra terrarium prior to going to the store. They confirmed that it was there still was in good condition and was the size listed. The shop was an hour and twenty minutes away in each direction with three kids in tow. When I got there the four top clips were broken and the enclosure was 6” smaller then the advertised size of 18”x24” (in reality it is only 18 x 18.) It was described in great condition but it’s rusted all over on top. The owner offered to sell it for lower, but as an as is sale. Not really sure lowering the price on something after it’s been sitting for four months is the favor or not, but it seem like he was trying to be nice and give a deal after being wrong about the description and wasting my drive out there. After driving an hour and 20 minutes and spending around $35 in gas I was hoping the trip was worth it. I was told I can just go ahead and buy a new top for it which in my head justified the trip to not waste all the gas and effort it took to get there. Once I got it home I found out that this is not a new model but it’s so old that they no longer even make the tops for this enclosure. They updated the model six years ago. I’ve even contacted the company itself to find this out and they don’t sell replacements. They don’t even make custom ones that could potentially work on this, and once again I was misinformed by the employees at the store. This enclosure cannot house anything safely at all and never should have been sold in the first place! I think it’s really sad to have wasted my time and money trying to support a business that can’t even advertise their products properly. I went into the store yesterday on Sept. 26th 2025. I always have great service when I go there. But yesterday I was embarrassed. I waited patiently in line for about 45 minutes. Patrick thanked me for being patient however I had A Coach purse that I wanted to pawn not sell. Patrick said that he couldn't accept it. I said ok but he said very loud where everyone in the store could hear his point which was my purse was dirty inside and asked me would you buy this purse it needs cleaned I said that I wasn't trying to sell it I'll be back to get it I just wanted to pawn it. He said well I can't accept it I was embarrassed because he was talking loud om front of everyone Instead of just letting me leave when he said he couldn't accept it I said ok but he had to make A point I went to another pawn shop and they accepted it. I will try to never go here again,but if I have to and you rudely blurt out what I consider personal information and try to publicly humiliate me in front of the whole store(which is obviously what you were trying to do), I will do the exact thing to you. I kept my cool today,was having a good day and wasn't going to let some knucklehead ruin it. If there is a next time, I will put you in your place. Better yet,come with me for a day or two.
