I was searching on Google maps for shrimp tacos and discovered this restaurant thanks to the folks who posted on Google reviews! In the search bar I typed shrimp and bonanza there were almost a dozen highly positive reviews about both their shrimp and fried fish tacos. Three fat, plump, juicy shrimp piled into a taco. Many thanks to the folks who where kind enough to post their reviews. They were not kidding! This place serves hot delicious food and at least the shrimp and fried fish tacos are cooked to order. Itâs quick and delicious! They use warm soft corn tortillas which were excellent. They also have a mild green or a spicy red sauce that is equally delicious. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it! Thank you to the owner of the shop, helpful employees and fantastic chef for making this meal possible! I cannot wait to return to try all your tacos! The biggest surprise of all was their delicious fried fish taco was only $1.59! The fish taco is a bit of a gimmick because of the small amount of fried fish, which was excellent, that you receive. The tacoâs are generous with their toppings considering the price! The chips were cold and salsa was thin and bland. Thanks again! On our second visit we tried the carne asada and the meat was similar to philly cheese steak quality meat so it was just average though it had guacamole on it which was nice but the shrimp and fish tacos were again awesome! I also noticed that the pico de gallo is made fresh and was also excellent. The tacos hit all the right spots delicious! Itâs a great place to come if all you want is a light snack! Update We have become regulars here and we love it! We tried the crispy shredded beef tacos and they were the best Iâve ever had! They fry the shell when you order it (wow) were they good! The carnitas were great as well on a soft corn tortilla with pico...

Ah, but let me whisper of a secret known to only the wisest and most adventurous of diners: the birria tacos. Not listed on the great scroll of the menu, they are a hidden gem, a delight for those bold enough to seek them out. Rich, tender, and dripping with flavor, they are the stuff of lore, the kind of dish that legends speak of long after the meal is done.
The atmosphere is informal, welcoming as an inn by the firelight on a cold evening. There is no pressure here, no judgmentâonly the joy of good food and the camaraderie of fellow travelers.
Victorâs Tacos is a jewel among the ordinary, a place where the price is fair, the quality is unmatched, and the flavors linger like the memory of an old friend. Whether you seek a quick meal before continuing your journey or a moment to pause and savor, Victorâs Tacos is a destination not to be missed. Go, and may your hunger...
Read moreWe are originally from Arizona and we missed the Mexican food from there badly! The restaurants here call themselves Mexican, but it was unlike any I have ever eaten and I was born/raised across the border from Mexico. I have eaten in Mexican food hole in the walls, from food trucks, at my Mexican friends homes and in chain restaurants in Arizona; but the Mexican food here is BLAND compared to there. If you are from the Southwest you MUST go to Oscar's tacos, for it is the Mexican food you are probably used to. If you are not from the Southwest and you have only eaten the Mexican food here, then go and expect your taste buds to explode with flavor. Southwestern Mexican food is flavorful and the hot sauce (red) actually has a burn. Every single Tennessean I have taken to Oscar's or told about Oscar's LOVES it! Food is fresh, prices are decent and the restaurant is clean.
I highly recommend the shredded beef, Carne Asada, 5 rolled tacos and fish tacos. The chicken quesadilla is delish and the nachos do not disappoint; plus are huge. The guacamole is freshly made too. Don't expect a server based restaurant though, this is one you order off a wall menu and pick up your food at the counter, but that keeps their prices lower. They cook everything fresh so it is not McDonald's fast either, but they do take orders in advance over the phone and you pay when...
