White's Fish, Hot Chicken & BBQ — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

While in Tenn visiting this place was recommended as a good place to eat hot fish. My family and I ordered 7 meals all Catfish plus sides. Picked up meals ready for a delightful treat to our surprise fish was not Catfish, taste like tilapia or some other mystery fish. Greens were straight out of the can, didn't have the decency to pretend they are fresh by adding a little meat or seasoning, fries were warm when we got home which was barely a 10 min ride. I am all about seeking out Black owned businesses but this one will never my business again. Called the business to let them know of our dissatisfaction with the meal and ask why we did not receive Catfish as requested she said something that was not understood and ended the conversation. I'm not mad. I am PISSED!! My triplets had to eat hard dry fish! Really, the fries tasted like fish!! Everyone talking about how good they food is.. LIES ALL LIES!! I NEVER HAD FISH THIS BAD!! We must have got there at closing. But the app says they close at 8? Fix this!! I will never ever come back! RUUNN FROM THIS PLACE! They obviously don't care about they customers to service food this bad!! and I was feeding my babies who TRULY LOVE FISH! I would have been better going to Captain D! Trust me, my family loves fish! But this is so wrong at every level, we went back, and they was close because they knew they were wrong for this! We was basically ROBBED! DONT EAT HERE PLEASE DONT YOU WILL REGRET IT! I've submitted 2 reviews in as many years... I try to refrain from commenting unless it's something exceptional. The fish might be different, but the hot chicken isn't anything special. Good enough, but any of the others in the area (400 Degrees, Princes, Helen's, Slow Burn) are better. Also took 45 minutes to get my order. I know hot chicken takes time to make fresh, which I appreciate, and I've waited longer before... but it wasn't that busy, and even other staff commented that they couldn't believe I was still waiting. The guy making it brought it out, and apologized for my wait... but when I got home my fries were only half cooked. Not soggy or just underdone... still solid in the middle. There is no excuse for that. Dunno if he fell asleep at the fryer or what, but I won't be back and felt the need to...
