Nashville Exchange — Restaurant in Nashville

This is a nice, comfortably casual dining experience. Stopped in for a business lunch around 11:30 and quick service and very attentive staff. There was a general atmosphere of willingness to serve with a relaxed southern hospitality. Atmosphere and layout were unique and pleasant. Food was good with nice portions and well prepared. Exchange Chicken Salad, a salad with sliced grilled chicken on bed of lettuce, was sizeable and fresh. The Portuguese Chicken Wrap was a good lunch size meal. Flavorful marinated chicken, freshly prepared with some nice seasoned mayo, bacon, and provolone cheese. The wrap is then grilled. Nice hearty meal. Was a little disappointed with the onion rings. I was pretty sure that the menu stated beer battered onion rings, which I had requested as the side for my wrap. It appears to have been breading onion rings instead. Though they were cooked well, they just weren't what I was expecting.

This is a nice little town with easy access, if you are passing through and need a quick bite. It is a decidedly much better option that tagging one of those FF chains with a better atmosphere and very personal attention...

Undoubtedly the best thin-cut ribeye I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a LOT of ribeyes of all sizes). Very decent salad bar. The chicken salad and steamed vegetables could use some work, and they should really add wine & beer to the menu, but that’s neither here nor there.

Not only were the ribeyes excellent, but the service and atmosphere were among the best (if not the best) I’ve ever experienced. Someone anonymously paid for my little family’s meal, which blew me away, and the staff gave my young daughter chocolates for Valentine’s Day. My day was made in a much-needed way that I can’t express or explain here… things have been tough lately, but I wasn’t going to go a Valentine’s Day without celebrating with my girls, and God blessed me through the people at Nashville Exchange for taking them out to have lunch there. I've been in here quite a few times and every visit has been unique. Even though I rent to grab and go, I stayed a few times and just hung out. It's a nice quiet environment that is enjoyable. The employees are so friendly and courteous! The best thing is the ambiance ... I look around the place and see distinct echoes of a by-gone hardware store that was once there judging from the decor and permanent fixtures. It makes it unique and one would just hope that the owners would keep it like that. The storefront view into historic downtown Nashville has it's own appeal as well. Centered between other businesses such as insurance companies, thrift shops, hair styling studio, the local newspaper, coffee shop and antique store, it makes for a wonderful afternoon just spending time alone or with that...
