Waffle House — Restaurant in Nashville

I stopped at this Waffle House and sat there for 20 minutes as the owner and wait staff chatted away totally ignoring me. I finally got the attention of the server and she acted like I was bothering her.

So I said ok maybe a bad day. Went back “stupid me”. I sat in a booth and watched servers gather at the other end of the restaurant I waited 35 minutes. No server mind you the owner was right there… nada ignored his staff not serving me, didn’t get my table cleaned from other diners no menus etc.. I got up and walked out the door as I was walking out I said thanks for the services. The waitress standing right next to owner gave me the finger and waved saying you all come back again. The owner was clueless 🤦🏼‍♀️

I would not even consider a 3rd try as who needs to be treated like that and what kind of owner is more interested in entertaining his wait staff than customers.🤷🏼‍♀️ Try it sometime wait staff surrounds the cash register gabbing and let’s customers sit there while owner is engaging them in conversation not asking them to...

Don’t know who the guy was because he didn’t have a name tag but he obviously doesn’t know what’s on the menu or what he’s doing. I came in with two of my friends, we sat down and didn’t get our orders taken for 15 minutes (only two other tables in there besides us) The one waiter was trying to carry way too many drinks which caused him to spill them all over the people behind us as well as splash it on the back of my friend. The silverware was dirty, and he told us that they don’t serve blueberry nougat waffles. Later when we got our food, my friend was almost done eating her hash brown bowl and found 2 short black hairs in it. Never got refills once and was asked when we were about to pay if we were done with our drinks which were empty for a good 10 minutes. I ordered a few things but when I ordered the Texas cheese steak, the picture had bacon on it so I thought it came like that but when I got to my car and found out there wasn't any on my sandwich I went back inside and that's when I found out that it doesn't come with it. The Cook said my waiter was supposed to tell me that and so he cooked me up some bacon and gave it to me free of charge without any problems. Thanks Chef 🙏 I really wanted that bacon 🥓 and 🤤... It was delicious. This Waffle House in Nashville North Carolina gets 5 Stars from me thanks to the waiter and Chef for admitting the fault wasn't mine and quickly correcting the situation.
