County Pie — Restaurant in Natchez

This establishment has been a great treat for my family. We had gone there every other week, and we loved their pizza until tonight.

We arrived for pickup at the scheduled time. They brought our pizza out to us, but it was wrong. They told us they had messed up with the receipt on the wrong box. They then came back and said they were taking our pizza back to the kitchen to put olives on it. We waited 10 more minutes and then they came out with our pizza.

No big deal. Mistakes happen. I drove home. When arriving at the house and opening up the box, it was clearly evident that they had given us a pizza that had been on the warmer for some time and not freshly made. The pizza was completely cold, the ham was ridged like it had been sitting for some time, and the olives were not baked into the pizza and would just fall off. It was so cold that my wife refused to even eat it. My four children, as hungry as they were, demolished it, but my wife was so upset she wanted me to call and make a complaint, or we wouldn't be eating there anymore. Because I love their pizza, I made the call.

This is the part that blew my mind and as to why we will no longer be eating there. The manager acknowledged that they made the mistake, but because my children had eaten the pizza there was nothing they could do for me. I honestly was just calling to make a complaint and not expecting a free pizza in return, but the conversation went sideways.

Being in business myself for the better part of my life. I understand mistakes happen but customer service is a must. Because of their customer service we will not be eating...

Girl friend, called to order all meat pizza add banana peppers to the whole pizza & add jalapeños on the other half. Can't do that . Gotta get additional toppings on the side, not cooked on the pizza. Well she's like I'm just gonna go in there in a Lil while order it like they said. Couldn't tell her y they couldn't do it its just against the rules. Went in and a nice girl said well maybe they can do what u originally wanted , she's back an forth going to the talk to whoevers in the back. So a diffrent person (manger) comes out from the back in front of everybody. With a bad attitude. Says we don't do that it's against the rules here , but we gonna do it this time , not ever again though. So the story ends with canceling out on her snobby offer and going to a way better long time forgotten, pizza history place called pizza hut, few miles.down the road. Y don't ya check it out. Was a bad experience before there didn't put a review on them. And gave another chance. Long story short on that note , the taco pizza we ordered had sour tasting and foul smelling ground beef on it , ask me how I know....

The food is always good. One problem if you are picking up curbside, make sure the employee give you your credit or debit card. I received a call from the bank the next morning saying someone had my debit card and I may have hers, and I did. We both did curbside pick up at County Pie .The card was wrapped up in the receipt. Luckily for me my card ended up in the hands of a person who did the right thing. The manager did not want to refund me the extra 54.34 that was charged to my account for the other lady’s food, she wanted the lady’s contact number. I called the Bank, requested to have a stop payment on the pending extra charge, and the manager was informed by the bank they could not give out the lady’s personal information. After 20 minutes of back and forth. Finally she informed me that the owner have her the okay to refund me the extra charge, that she “missed understood him”.
