Red Top Seafood — Restaurant in Natchez

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. This is a seafood restaurant. When you walk in, your order is taken at the register, pay, give them your name and then proceed to the dining area. Our order came out in about 15 minutes HOT.

I ordered fried shrimp with fries, coleslaw, two stuffed shrimp and three hush puppies. The shrimp were fried perfectly well. The stuffed shrimp not so good. To much stuffing with no taste and coleslaw could use more flavor.

The other party ordered fried catfish, coleslaw, fries and hush puppies. Catfish is a specialty at this restaurant as well as a southern thing amongst most restaurants here. I'm from upstate NY.

This restaurant does offer hamburgers and chicken strips and a few other items.

Restaurant is wheelchair accessible. Don't know if restroom is. There is handicapped parking out front with a ramp.

My family and I stopped by this place and almost every order wasn’t correct. I order 2 fully dressed red top burgers and they wasn’t fully dressed very dry and pieced together badly. We order 2 of the Louise’s seafood platters and they both was missing the stuffed shrimps when asked they chose to substitute those for boudin balls with out informing me of the substitute when asked about it they said they couldn’t give me anything else in the place of the stuffed shrimps except the boudin balls. Personally I feel that for the price they charge they should let the customers know what is going on and when they are changing the order. We order wraps that had to be redone. Food is great except for you have to order the food at the door and then go sit down. While sitting noone checks on you to see if you need anything. You have to walk back up to the counter and ask for help. I ordered the Loiuse's Seafood Platter. Fried fish, oysters,and shrimp were delicious. Boiled shrimp was ok but no real cajun flavors. The jalapeño stuff crabs were great. Two people ate on this meal and had plenty to bring home. Gumbo was very good except for I had to ask for more rice.
